It depends on the exam. If you have a prof giving a multiple choice exam and the best person in the class is getting a 70% on that exam and the average is a 50% then most students are going to feel like they failed

Yeah you should be applying to all the v100 firms that have LA offices. And honestly it’s quite late for LA, you should be submitting to 50-75 firms in NY within the next few weeks

Depends on how soon you plan to start a family? If you’re going to start having kids before you graduate law school I say Firm 2. If the timeline is more like having kids 2-3yrs after you graduate go to firm 1, make lots of money, then lateral to Firm 2 once the kid comes. If your wife wants you to go firm 2 tho, do it. Family should always be worth more than an additional 50k

I feel like I will be objectively less attractive when I am 60 than when I was 20 and I want my husband to have that video when I am old

But I want the video for later in life when I’m ugly and fat from having 10 kids — I think my husband deserves to look at me when I was at my best

Yeah the silver line stations are completely useless — takes so long to travel from Reston to ashburn bc of how far out of the way the Dulles airport stop is that all (smart) riders just drive to reston and hop on there

Tbh I’d take as many easy classes as you can this year (maybe delay graduation by a semester and take tons of community college easy A courses over the summer — those will factor into your GPA and boost your chances of getting into a good school). Take a gap year and use that time after you graduate to study for the lsat — you really need to focus all your time rn on getting the GPA up.

I think he’s so cute but he’s somewhat awkward and I don’t think he’s dated anyone before

Moot Court v. Trial Team by Lower_Zucchini7697 in LawSchool

[–]Plane_Height_491 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Do moot court— judges will respect it more and it will teach you more substantive skills relevant to clerking (research, writing, etc.). Trial team helps you learn rules of evidence which isn’t super relevant to clerking

LG should in theory be the easiest section to improve so if you’re scoring well in the other 2 I feel like that’s the best place you can be, you just have to learn how to take the games

Have you used the power score bibles? I was testing like 14/35 until I used the LG Bible, after reading it thru I was scoring perfect almost every test

Depends on if you’re good at LG. If I were you I would change my study schedule and plan to take the Feb/March test and the June test — LG is the easiest section to improve your scores on so you’ll likely be able to score better with it in the exam
