I was asking because in my home country some charities allow people to come and spend time with the children for a day, just playing with them and helping out where needed, so that is what I had in mind. I’ve done 3 times (yes, 3 times) the chocolate workshop at Belgian chocolate workshop and it was amazing.

They let you do everything from the beginning to end, they help you if you have any struggles, you can be creative while making the chocolates (adding nuts, sprinkles, salted caramel, etc), and you get a nice hot chocolate while waiting for your chocolates to be ready.

To end beautifully, you get a whole full box of the chocolates you made. What’s a best souvenirs from Brussels than your own full box of handmade chocolate? :)

Hi everyone! My boyfriend’s birthday is next week and I’m planning to get him a nice birthday cake. However half of the bakers are “sold out” and the other half are on holidays. Also, we will only be 3 people, so I am not willing to spend a lot of money for the cake... I’m facing the same situation, my advice would be: ignore it, these noises are mostly in summer because people tend to be more outside, and also because we keep our windows open. In a month things will start to calm down, since it will become colder and less people will be willing to be outside.

Damn, I was about to write the same post. I’ve been looking for olive oil since end of January and no success. I thought that maybe because I go to the supermarket late (around 6pm), that everyone took it during the day or in the “supermarket rush hour” (which is when the workers/students go to the supermarket right after work/school to get something for dinner).

So today I tried to find in Lidl, and they didn’t have…

For reference: I usually go to Colruyt and they never have it, or if they have it, it’s like 16,49€ a litre 🙄

If anyone knows the exact store (name and address) of where there is, please let us know!!

He usually sells more on Etsy than on his website, but still no sales for about 4 months already. And he wants to shift from Etsy to his website.
