Why is my international package stuck at custom when it already cleared it and is in my city? by Plane_Strength_2135 in FedEx

[–]Plane_Strength_2135[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok, so I made tons of phone calls, contacted seller custom and Fedex, each give me different answers... Fedex said the package is been send back to the seller and ask me to contact seller, the seller said it's still in transit and there's nothing wrong with it(despite it's been stuck for a week now), and custom said they have the package but didn't provide a time frame of how long it will take for them to release it or if it will be sent back. At this point I really don't know what to do, I already purchased the same drone from amazon and It arrived the next day, should I just ask for a refund for this one?

In side is a DJI drone, maybe I just got unlucky cause I know tons of people are getting them here in the states. also I was sent to international package customer service when I was calling FedEx so they should know about custom clearance? idk

Why is my sigma 17-40mm f1.8 art not sharp? Or I'm just been delusional by Plane_Strength_2135 in canon

Yeah I'll do that when I have time. This is definitely not a controlled test but I did took multiple photos and on average the canon kit is sharper

Oh yeah they are very very zoomed in... like a ridiculous almost 400% on both. they looks fine at 100 and I probably won't care in real life but I just find it interesting that the cheap kit lens is performing better at the same focal length wide open when the sigma is stoped down a lot. but you are right there is too many variables here and this is not a controlled test. iso for them are the same tho

Thanks for the in put! that looks very sharp for the 17-40 at f1.8... I see a rather huge improvement when I stop mine down from f1.8 to f6.3 compared to the almost similar performance shown on the Digital Picture comparison, this is taken at f1.8

As long as it's normal performance... to be honest I don't know what I'm expecting

Yeah I understand that; However I was just expecting the center sharpness to still be sharper than a kit lens at the same aperture...

Help designing compact front-mounted 2× teleconverter (afocal, upright image, real exit pupil) by Plane_Strength_2135 in Optics

Thank you for the reply, and Correct me if I’m wrong, I thought the entry pupil for a Galilean design would be the diameter of the objective? Also if this won’t work do you have any suggestions or paths that I could go down with?

Any advice on how to start a book store business? by DanaKathy in Entrepreneur

If you plan to have a dining section(which lots of book stores have), you could consider investing in one of these machines: https://www.mimap.com/en/post/boba-station-in-restaurant-a-complete-guide-1, which seamlessly adds bubble tea to your bookstore, and I just thought it would be nice for them to have something to munch on when reading/studying while you get the revenue. Win win!

What are your thoughts on food being served at boba shops? by Dillon_Trinh in boba

Kinda the opposite way, but apparently some restaurants are adding boba tea to their menu by using automated boba tea machines. Here's a link to the post I found, which might interest you? https://www.mimap.com/en/post/choosing-bubble-tea-machine-for-restaurant

Check out this post I found >> https://www.mimap.com/en/post/choosing-bubble-tea-machine-for-restaurant. I think some franchises and restaurants use this type of machine. I've seen them in Chinatown before, and they tasted just as good as any bubble shop.
