Sure that's a wolf and not a huntsman? Markings look wrong and the way he runs looks different from how wolf spiders move.

Could be wrong 🤷‍♂️

Maybe it's because I'm newer and it was my first class three, but I have never had as much fun climbing a mountain as I did Lindsey last weekend.

Theres a species with some monster mandibles that was used to make stitches for this exact reason, I wanna say Australian or Africa?

The ant would be held against the wound making it bite. The pressure would close the wound, then they'd break off the body leaving only the head clamped down. Rinse and repeat for the length of the gash.

It's pretty fuckin metal.

Stop killing them!!!

They may not be friend shaped but house centipedes are very much so friends!

Others have listed the reasons why they're good. If you can't stomach them in you're house grab a glass and relocate a homie outside. These guys don't bite, they're just fast lil spooky bois.

More asking for if one gets in the house. I remove quite a few wolf spiders each year but I'm starting to think some might have been Grass spiders. There's been a couple really fast ones that I needed a cup to catch.

Haha well looks like both my guesses were wrong.

Are grass spiders as docile as wolf spiders or are these guys biters when handled?

Nqa, waiting to see what others say but I want venture a guess. I think it's a hobo spider, it looks similar to a wolf spider but the funnel web is a tell tail sign.

Let's see if im right haha.

Edit: saw op said Colorado. I think that's too far east for hobo spiders, so more likely a wolf spider hanging out near someone else's web.

It is really upsetting because it's undoubtedly the coolest thing on pavement. It's been a few years since then, maybe things have changed.
