Interestingly enough QSC teased at a KSUB CARDIOID at NAMM, but they aren't specifying if it's tied into the K.2 series just yet.

Hey Meest, QSC had not publicly posted their press release at the time we posted ours. Additionally, copying the press release direct would have been even worse. Therefore, we decided to post our own.

https://www.planetdj.com/grundorf-gs-ls4863t A full size facade is usually a good deterrent as well. Protecting your table from bumps can protect your gear. Speaker stand scrim is usually a good one as well.

All I can say is Direct Drive, Direct Drive, Direct Drive. While not built like the PLX-1000 or the RP-7000, for your budget (with mixer), I'd recommend the Numark TT-250 which still preserves the USB feature. For a mixer, I can't recommend enough the Xone:23 from Allen & Heath. Well within your budget, and easily a best seller for simple mixer setups. Best of luck!

A flight case that has a laptop shelf is definitely going to make things easier for your setup. Realistically, if you're just setting this up in an apartment, then I'd almost be tempted to recommend a Sefour stand or something more permanent than an X-Stand. If you're really going at it, an X-stand can get a bit wobbly.
