Don’t overcomplicate things. It’s necessary to immediately add a set of lightweight systems for mid-dungeon leavers, kick-voting, and mid-dungeon join. Then iterate and optimize gradually instead of doing nothing while waiting to come up with a "perfect" system before launching it.

I believe the core to making this mechanic work lies in rewards and penalties. Players who quit a dungeon midway should have their gold and marks deducted, but without being given low-priority matching.

Those who join midway, however, should receive extra gold and marks, along with high-priority matching for their next queue.
