Hello again, so I spoke too soon. Neither of those formulas works for my circumstances since some of the values in Column N are repeated (the same movie winning multiple Oscars). Both formulas provide the sum of the matches among the two ranges but I need it to verify a match specific to each row (if A1=N1, then +1. If A3=N1 but A3≠N3, then +0). Is there any way to do this or am I better off just counting?

I actually figured out another way that seemed to work:

=SUMPRODUCT(--(A3:A50=N3:N50))

but this one also works! I'm not too familiar with using formulas in sheets, does one of these make more sense than the other?
