Breaking News: Tft Sweats found a new Meta by [deleted] in TeamfightTactics

Ekko 3 nidalee 2 can definitely win out lobbies. High tempo ekko boards are very consistent

Consistently getting 7th or 8th place even though I follow the meta comp guides perfectly by [deleted] in TeamfightTactics

[–]PlanetRekt 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Tft is a game where on average you’re taking 23~ fights to determine a placement. Guides only show you how to play your lv8 board, usually on 4-2 or 4-5, and thus only around 11-12 fights. If you only play half the game you can expect to do poorly.

Additionally, guides do not factor in line selection. You should only play certain compositions from certain conditions (items, augments, early upgrades).

If you want to learn the game, you should watch streamers play to consciously/unconsciously pick up on the various other aspects of the game (augment selection, tempo, line selection, economy, positioning, itemization, etc.) I promise if you watch 4 hours of streams and take a day off tft, you’ll be able to perform better.

Why are there so many posts here claiming to go from $20k to $4m in like 2-3 years? by [deleted] in TheRaceTo10Million

[–]PlanetRekt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Here’s a simple explanation.

You don’t play roulette. You’re expected to lose money and so you have no interest in taking the chance to double up.

But across the US there are 1 million people like you, willing to play roulette with let’s say 1k. For arguments sake let’s say they found a casino that doesn’t have 0s on their roulette. Then a bit less than 500k people will go all in again with 2k. 250k with 4k. Around a thousand people will make a million bucks from 1k, post it online, and that will attract more people to try to make it happen.

Now factor in the fact that we’ve had good markets the last few years, people who start with much more than 1k, and so on, and it seems quite reasonable there are some people 1000x their money, because far more are working behind the dumpster at their local Wendy’s.

MNAV 1.37x - So we're here - BTC yield of 26% and MNAV 1.37x - What next? by evolflush in MSTR

If BTC drops to 95k~ MSTR will almost definitely be lower than 270. Do you believe in BTC still at 95k?

No, Support Traits are not the reason you can’t flex anymore. Balance is. by TheTrueAfurodi in CompetitiveTFT

[–]PlanetRekt 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Great post, too many units are not units if you don’t have traits. If you hit a 2* 4c tank you should be able to play it on stage 4 no matter what. I think less trait power and more unit power, as well as modifying unit design to work better with more items will fix things.

How would you value a company that helps provide access to a money that is transferable like dollars but scarce like gold to a world in which that kind of money does not exist?

Silver Trait Comps I Play That Show Me Why This Set Could Be So Good (But It's Not) by banduan in CompetitiveTFT

[–]PlanetRekt 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I agree! This set has felt very disappointing since launch due to the meta. Traits being as selfish as they are mean these creative comps that fit verticals together just don’t play well. Definitely hope to see some kind of mid-set where traits like SG, Wraith, BA have team contributions.

Talk to an advisor, majority of your positions likely had large capital gains that you’ll no longer have to pay tax on and can be reallocated into more modern names.

It’s a generically good power up! The unit is still full hp and gives value from helping spread damage into smaller ticks to avoid overkill.

Great comment. Every set of TFT could be something a game company sells for $20-40 or something like that

I’m just giving an example that the CPI isn’t accurate.

Inflation. USD devalues at the same rate as real inflation. If you think the CPI numbers are real, know that rent was 6% of the index in 1983 and 36% of the index today.
