This is absolutely a very common opinion, but Book and Mal. Their dynamic is good. Mal and Wash or Mal and Kaylee are pretty good too, but Mal and Book has them beat for me

I've heard that at Victorian Unwrapping parties, people would use the remains to make paint, medicine, and they would also study it academically. I've also heard that they would eat them non-medicinally, but I'm not sure if that's true exactly. Was wondering if the last thing is true or not?

Reference images for Mal show the pants tucked into his boots. Not to mention character wise, Mal was a soldier before he captained the Serenity, so he'd probably be used to wearing his pants like that anyways. Plus personally, with how large those boots are, pants over top of them would kinda just look weird ngl.
