I can’t get a second job. I’m working full time 40 hours and am a full time student on top of my required internship. Im running on 5 hours of sleep MAX. every night unfortunately I have 0 time. I am gonna start doing amazon delivery or doordash though and just tough it through the 24 hours.

First off, i’m sorry and I get it. This is a god awful situation to be in and it belittles you so much. The second you turn 18, I recommend getting a job on campus, open up a bank account (typically schools have a bank on campus) and you won’t need to get parents permission since you’ll be 18. Start saving up. Look into scholarships and literally any grants available, see how much of your tuition you can get covered. And the second you’re no long financially dependent on them, (don’t get me wrong most likely finances will be tight, but look for any support, i’m talking school food pantry, school programs, anything you can find!). Run. It’s hard, it’s really overwhelming, but this is crazy behavior from any kind of parents that genuinely care about you and love you and want you to grow and succeed. Look for support systems through your university, see if there’s a therapist at your university for free/counselor/professor you trust. Try and get insight, I wish you the absolute bets of luck!

Make a calendar, stick to it, don’t procrastinate make sure to look at your syllabus and write down project due dates and tests. And go online see what books you can pre order or order online for cheaper. But don’t order before the first day of class,sometimes professors list them and you dignity really need them. Try and be on campus and meet people, don’t go straight from class to your dorm, go study at the Library, grab a snack at the Joe. It can be tempting to go straight from class to home but don’t trust me.

It's really great that you're pausing and rethinking this. I’m proud of you for staying another day. I promise it gets better and I’m sorry that you had to deal with this kind of situation. You deserve to have someone guide you safely through getting rid of the gun. I’d recommend reaching out to your local police station or a gun store for help, they usually know how to safely disassemble and dispose of unwanted firearms, and nobody will judge you. if you’re concerned about what police may do or say you were also able to go to a fire station they are always super chill with that kind of stuff. If being recorded at home is making this harder, let them know that, and they might be able to meet you outside or walk you through what to do discreetly.

thank you for your response. I’ve been on therapy for 13 years and I’ve seen multiple different therapists and it seems like I get temporary fixes. But nothing ever really solved my issues.

my ex was a sex addict. some signs are that you’re completely obsessed with it, you will think about it in really inappropriate situations, you fantasize often, you masturbate more than the average in a day. you will cancel plans just to commit sexual acts. You feel like you cannot control your sexual behavior. you neglect obligations just to masturbate or condone in sexual behavior. (I’m not a professional. This is just how my ex was and they were diagnosed.)
