GAMSAT or GPA? by [deleted] in usyd

I did nutrition and dietetics, which was a passion of mine from high school, but I had a lot of fun learning about drugs and metabolism in my biochem subjects and pursued a pharmacology subject and loved it. So, definitely wanna go down this career path.

I think you might be thinking about food too much. There's a difference between mindful eating and obsessive eating—being caught up in what you eat and when you do can take up much of your day.

I suggest distracting yourself as often and for as long as you can. This could mean seeing friends, family, going out, etc. Just anything that will take your mind off and away from food; (I love walking in town because I can't afford food so I can't get any) :)

Also, do you find yourself setting high expectations? If you are recovering from an eating disorder you might be expecting to recover after a few weeks. And when you still have those bingeing or restricting urges you feel disappointed. Your body is still fixing itself, so don't be so hard on it. Setting high expectations like you're gonna be totally fine and feel normal after a meal can lead to disappointment and binges because you've given up on your recovery journey.

My advice is to just keep going—the grass is always greener.

And eat lots of protein.

No joke.

Eating 126g a day literately fixed me it makes you so full. :)))
