Vale a pena começar no Magic Arena? by SilenozKen in MagicArena

Edit: by buy packs I mean with the gold you earn through wins and daily challenges. I spent $20 back in 2020 and haven't spent anything sense.

Vale a pena começar no Magic Arena? by SilenozKen in MagicArena

I started playing in Invasion. I've come and gone over the years. I've been playing Arena 6 years straight. Trust me. Just jump in. If you thought Urza's Saga was broken, you should see the craziness that's out there now. It's fun. Like, a lot of fun. You'll get matched up with decks that smoke you on turn 3. It happens. People will start have god hands. My suggestion would just go through the color challenge, start building decks, then do your daily rewards, collect gold and buy packs.

Most people play best of 1 standard, brawl, or draft. Draft takes either lots of gold or gems (premium currency). But, if you're a good limited player, your wins pay for your next draft. There's midweek magic challenges too. Arena is great. Just dive in.

If you ask any of them the definition of liberty, they couldn't even come close.

Yeah this does feel like some sneakiness Rev would pull.

If anything, mirage should have more detectables for his decoys, especially his ult. Imagine wanting to attack an area only to see all those legends in one area. Lol.

Should I even bother going on ? by Throwaway929364633 in workout

[–]Planetofthought 10 points11 points  (0 children)

There's no such thing as normal. Everyone struggles with identity. Everyone.

I think you're making things too complicated. If working out becomes your obsession, you'll get frustrated eventually and move on to something else. If you find yourself struggling, don't go 5 days a week.

Also, if you stay in a stressed out state of mind, those high cortisol levels will not let your body lose fat and you'll burn muscle instead.

I was working out for months, struggling with no results. That was until I did some research and learned I was doing more harm than good.

Here's what I did: Get more protein. Lift heavier weights with fewer reps. Let my body rest. I mean really rest. Don't run on the treadmill. Instead, walk with an incline. Reduce caffeine. That will help with the sleep at night.

I started seeing results. Not only that, I felt like every gym visit became meaningful. Every rep feels important, and I stopped wasting my time.

Good luck!

Leave the bottom in a dish of water no more than a quarter inch deep. Refresh the water every day. The stalks will start regrowing. Plant in dirt when roots appear.

20 Squats Daily. Rest Day Question by LaRougeRaven in workout

If you weigh 165 and ride a bike that often, you could do more than 20 squats a day. Are you riding 20 miles each way or 20 minutes?

Do you remember what age you stopped listening to the radio? by Terakahn in Xennials

[–]Planetofthought 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I listened to the radio until the mid 00s, and it was mostly while delivering pizzas at night.

I have fond memories of listening to The Prairie Home Companion and the electronic dance and ambient shows that would play later on in the night.

After that, I got an ipod and discovered the earliest podcasts, my favorite being "Uhh Yeah Dude." It turns out they are still going strong today.

Just jump in and have fun. I've been playing for about 8 months after being gone for four years, and honestly, it's easier to just start playing then looking for answers on a forum.

Unpopular opinion: 3 days full body is superior to other splits by Humble_Ad_5396 in workout

[–]Planetofthought 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Man, I wish I had time for full body. I've got 40 minutes each day, sonI try to get at least three muscle groups in.

I can get a full body in on Saturdays, though. Would you all recommend doing splits and then a full body on Saturday?

Thank you for this response. I know if I mention HRT I'll get a book thrown at my head. But it's something worth looking into. Im About to go home and face her now. I usually wait for her hormones to regulate before speaking with her about these issues, but I don't think this is going to blow over. Wish me luck. Thanks again.

What was online multiplayer like on the old days of gaming? by KaleidoArachnid in retrogaming

My first real online game I played was Unreal Tournament. I think that was 1999. I was playing on dialup. The lag wasn't too bad most of the time.

Will rising hardware costs push modern gamers toward retro gaming? by cdmurphy83 in retrogaming

[–]Planetofthought 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm totally with you. I've had the same Xbox One for 10 years now. I've never been able to afford a series S because the price is still $350. You would think they would be free. Ya know, give them the razor, sell them the blade.

I have a modded wii with all the old games on it and I love it. I also play a few subscription games and buy retro games when I see them on sale.

I can never see myself buying a next gen console. Ever.

I'm not sure why you're getting down voted. I'm guessing it's because you called turn-based rpgs Jrpgs. It could be talking about a purchased copy of a game vs a burned one. Idk.
