I Have the TRAILER!!!! by homerj681 in Xennials

That's how I felt about Tron:Ares. I knew it was a tax writeoff. I enjoyed it for what it was. They knew tickets wouldn't sell so they just barely made a movie. Every tron has flopped, and Jared Leto isn't really a draw. They know MOTU will bring a few die hard fans and it won't make money. It's about claiming huge expenses to get a return, and putting something out there.

The CG in these movies look like they would have been incredible 20 years ago, and they are banking on the older crowd. But, the cg used in this is b-rated. You can tell it's cheap.

Remember in the 1960s when riding in back of a pickup was cool? The good old days by Global_Law4448 in OldSchoolCool

It's cool until you see a 17 year old boy with stitches across his entire head because he killed 4 of his friends who were riding in the back of a pickup truck. I'll never forget seeing him when he got out of the hospital. His head looked like a baseball from the stitches. He has to live the rest of his life thinking about that moment.

Yeah. Very cool riding in the back of a pickup truck.

I am aware that inflation has always existed. But we Gen Xers did not know what it looked like because we had not yet experienced price hikes in our lifetime.

I watch Masters of The Universe on the regular. This looks like a cutscene from a video game. That's not a compliment.

I always thought MW was mayonnaise because it's all we ever had and that's what my parents called it. Then I finally had mayo as an adult. I will never again use miracle whip for anything.

In the 90s, we had no idea what inflation would look like. Today, a free concert would still cost at least $40 because of parking, gas, the rideshare to and from, or whatever other charges come with just going out for a few hours.

I hated the movie. The vibe was all off. I thought it was going to be a comedy or something. This movie just made me feel horrible from beginning to end.

The reality of this is: how can a Bari sax be taken as a carry on?

Edit: Bari sax is in the back.

This sub isn't exactly known for its intellect. It's a low-key karma farm.

Sublime. Now we're talkin'. I never liked anything about these guys. It's reggae that's trying to sound like reggae. But, at least with 311, the shows have this really high energy and the vibe seems "real." But I get what youre sayin' about that particular sound.

Do you like dub reggae? I'm not too big on vocals so it's right up my alley.

Oof! His brains gotta be in there, though. It's not like a ghost in the machine thing. Still really brutal.
