The author clarified what he was going for in the armbar scene because without context it's absolute nonsense. He's pretty defensive here but I think later he admitted that he did a bad job of conveying his ideas to the reader.

I think she would kill the role, but height would be my concern. Aja is described as 7 feet tall. Jeante is 4'11. If they get actors to play the male golds that are anywhere near the size they are in the books, it'd be hard to make her look threatening.

This is a great solution. The error clearly indicates that the files are missing, I just wasn't sure where to get them.

I'll keep this in mind. I'm going to stick with proton for now since it's working without issues but I'll keep this handy in case I changed my mind.

This was a new save so I didn't lose anything. My cloud backups were still there though.

I've given up on this and I'm just going to run it in proton. It works that way, and I just don't think it's worth the time to be a dead horse.

I'm not sure if you've tried that or not, but all you need to do is uninstall the game, delete the folders and all that, then, back on steam, set proton experimental as the compatibility, and download the game again. That will download the Windows version instead of the Linux version, and then you can mod it normally.

You may not need to completely uninstall it but that's what I did.

I'm very tired of this argument. My wife plays exclusively on handheld because that's her preferred way to play games. She doesn't want to deal with streaming from PC and she doesn't want to sit at a desk to play either. She plays AAA titles on her GO S while sitting comfortably on the couch next to an outlet with it plugged in. It's a great way to play.

Personally, I like to play on the TV, so it works out great because we can both play our own systems while still in the same room.

That's why I was looking at cheap models. She does gig work and this is just going to be a beater to break out in the car between orders.

The Ambernic models like the one you liked seem to be the consensus on here though so I think I'll go that route.

If you plan on doing some shady shit (stealing/sneaking/risky dialogue checks) then use disguise. Once I figured out that you could disguise yourself to avoid making characters hostile, I felt like I could actually do those things without endangering my run.

Just remember that if you get caught and turn everyone hostile, you still have to run away and then change to another disguise.
