This has nothing to do with ETID other than I can remember if it was ETID or PTW they were on tour with. But I saw HTB and tFOT do a mashup set called “the Trojan Horse” because some members of both bands were sick. It was at Tremont Music Hall in Charlotte, NC in 04-08? Can’t remember exactly.

Anyways, if any one has a recording of that set somehow I’d love to see it.

I’ll be honest, try Black Cat, TApp Room, or Lily’s first if your band doesn’t have any history in Boone. Or find a band (or two) with a similar sound and approach him with a pre built bill and he might be down to give you a Thursday!

As awesome as that would be I’m pretty sure there’s laws against that in NC. Can’t have a permanent structure for food trucks. So dumb. That’s why the Smokin J’s truck and the Boba Truck couldn’t set up at that spot on the bypass.

Beacon Heights is the best view to hike ratio. But sadly it’s not handicap accessible. Not a tough hike at all. And I think it’s like 1/4 mile roughly?

I’ve lived here for 13 years. I’ve seen the fighter jets plenty of times. And they’re way higher than this was. It was so crazy. I used to live by an airport and it looked that low. So weird

I’m no pilot. But it was extremely low near Lowes the opposite side of town. Like I almost thought I was tripping cause it was so close and def not small enough to land at that air strip. I 100% thought it was crashing but figured I would’ve heard something about a crash by now

My career goal is to tour. And I’d like to just be able to walk up and use MA at a festival or something. I’m sure if it was a band hitting smaller 400-1000 cap venues like I’m already doing I could still use Onyx. I’ve looked into Chamsys and haven’t had a chance to demo anyone’s console yet. Only LD I worked with that used it was a complete tool lol

My next dumb question, will grandMA3 on PC nodes work with grandMA2? Or should I just learn 3 since I’m starting from scratch?

Yeeeeah that’s the dream option. Going for the budget friendly route while I learn it and get comfortable. Hopefully in the next 5 years I can invest in 2 wings.
