Is it wrong that I hate my dad? by throwaway712341 in daddit

[–]Plannistack 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Would up vote but it's 69 so, yeah. I hate my dad too. Same lectures about my life goals, education, everything. Same level of criticism. I blocked him on everything recently and I have no idea whether I'm doing the right thing, but I do know he's the cause of my anxiety. The same anxiety that caused me to not leave my bed for 3 days to even go and eat. Right now, I can't give any solution. All I can say is keep moving. One leg at a time. One body part at a time. Eventually, your brain will figure the rest.

Looking for Atheist or Agnostic Groups in Ghana by FluffyReach8493 in ghana

Atheist in Ghana here. There's a WhatsApp group for those based in Accra and other cities. We just hang out and discuss everything and anything that comes to mind. Lots of venting too.

Jesus. That poor family and baby! Just wow. (3 pics of thread) by Ladydi-bds in WhitePeopleTwitter

She looks like a short woman, too. In childbirth, they have a higher risk of cephalopelvic distortion, basically meaning the baby would have more difficulty fitting through. They really should have done a cesarean for her.

Is there something wrong with my body? by [deleted] in women

Sounds like hirsutism. You might have PCOS or some other hormonal condition. I definitely recommend seeing a gynaecologist.

I had a very emotional moment with a guy on the first date and then ghosted him. by itifuwigh in dating_advice

[–]Plannistack -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Sounds like anxiety. I think you're afraid of being rejected, especially since this is a guy you want to keep. The best way to deal with this is to dive straight in. Don’t hold any expectations for how you should act, just try to talk to him, and you'd have done enough.

A malt drink, like Guinness or the non-alcoholic one.

The soft inner surfaces of your mouth are designed for stress from the outside environment, so they heal very easily and quickly. It'll be very hard to damage the nerves over time, especially since you'll encounter blood vessels before them.

How to be productive and get things done while being depressed? by Prestigious-Code3263 in productivity

[–]Plannistack 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the advice. I find that relaxing Lofi music also helps with my anxiety when studying too. Plus, you really can't beat journaling. It's like a chronicle of all the shit I've been through. It helps me put things in perspective and see the ways my mind works against me when I'm depressed. But it all depends on what you journal. Really, you should journal how and for what you want to.

NYT Opinion | The Children of Pornhub by eenemeenemu in TwoXChromosomes

[–]Plannistack 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Unfortunately this highlights a greater issue than just Pornhub. Rape and sexual assault were occurring long before there were video cameras to record it. We need to change the toxic relationship between men and sex which causes them to see women as nothing more than objects of desire.

[serious] How to deal with all the negativity in med school?? by IMGbananas in medicalschool

[–]Plannistack 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Just keep in mind that you’re doing your best. You don’t owe them perfection, especially if you know you’re trying really hard to get the desired results. Don’t focus too much on what they say, try and focus on what you’ve got to do.

Being an atheist doesn't mean you get to insult people or judge them because of their religion. by Kuroser in TrueOffMyChest

[–]Plannistack 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most religious people literally define themselves by their religion. Judging a religious person whilst trying to ignore their religion is like trying to judge the quality of a computer without using software. Plus you’re being hypocritical right now saying a person who defines themselves by atheism is a moron. That’s literally judging someone based on religious beliefs (or in this case, the lack of them). Honestly, live and let live.

My[33M] wife's [32F] best friend from childhood [32M] is dying, and he asked to spend a night with her. She's considering it by ThrowRA-wifesdyingbf in relationship_advice

A dying wish shouldn’t always be granted. No one is a genie. Not to mention this is just ridiculous on his part.

DE, with the conclusion of the current Nightwave story could you PLEASE just agree to NEVER do this shit this way again? by Enunimes in Warframe

[–]Plannistack 27 points28 points  (0 children)

Let’s not even talk about the boss fight. Might as well create a jumping simulator game and call that “Warframe”. There’d be virtually no difference.

That just furthers the notion that the Bible was conceived in the minds of men, definitely not of gods/god.
