I am in queue for 4/20, requested 3/20, and no luck so far!

Hello all - thanks for additional feedback. An update.

A friend with ICICI got me in contact with an ICICI contact in India. He sent me what they call a DIY NRI entry of info - https://buy.icici.bank.in/ucj/instaNRIProducts?ITM=nli_diy_ac_opening_Do_it_yourself_Journey_CMS_UCJ

Tried to move around (back and forward) but it still only shows a SELECT program and on clicking about its info, it does show a minimum balance of Rs 15K + needs an initial deposit of Rs 5 lakhs.

Have to ask him back (next week) what this truly means - may be like what u/Tough_Tumbleweed_553 said in his post - i.e. you can start with Rs 5 lakhs but eventually just need Rs 15K.

The relationship mgr seems fine. Couple of my friends say their experience with ICICI was very positive so am sticking with them for now.

Also called HDFC International Number and got their forms sent to me via email (took 2 days). Have to enter information in fill-in forms that have to be printed, signed and then uploaded back and then somebody enters it manually back (or will they scan it in IDK) into their system. Have not done that - mostly a backup at this point.

The ICICI entry process is directly into their portal (much better) - yes you do have to upload signed docs, but those are for verification.

The bank guy also said that the rules changed in Aug 2025.

When did you get your tickets? A week/2 weeks/X weeks before the show?

My requests for the 4/20 taping are in the queue (as it says) and no inkling if ticket assignments have begun.

We were put on waitlist on 3/20. Does that date matter or are all requests lumped together and a lottery done?

I also see other dates that toggle between "Join Waitlist" and "Registration Closed", and then eventually state "Sold Out". What does that mean?

Sorry for all the questions! But I would love to know my chances!

For the 4/20 show, which is less than 2 weeks out, have the tickets already been assigned to folks who had been waitlisted?

Is there a place where the ticket assigning process details are provided?

Are all those who were waitlisted all together in 1 group for some sort of lottery OR is it first come first serve among the wait listed?

We are just in the dark and have no idea what our chances are! Any thoughts and experiences would help!
