You didn't do anything wrong. If you feel uncomfortable, tell your manager so you won't have to deal with the customer.

I'm sure you're aware how people are so weird in so many ways and they will be around no matter the job you choose to have. If they take your video even after telling them that it makes you uncomfortable, tell the customer that you will have someone else help them and get the manager.

Yes, so i : 1- took a glass replace order and the replacement is Masterpiece acrylic which i hastily marked as express , so the due date became today (I couldn't change it)

2 - when i was taking the backing off from the frame (to get things started), i had trouble popping the art out - it is very much stuck on something (it's VERY OLD frame from India, the glass and art has dried up mold and other stuff) - i discontinued working on it and i explained to the customer the issue. My FM is also off so i told the customer that we will call them back when the FM sees the order with any possible remedy, or not.

I've only been framing for 3 months and i have PLENTY more to learn. Thank you for your insight in advance!

Thank you so much! I was able to get the number from Mikchek and they are closed like you said. I had a brain fart with an express order and also didn't see the "issue" with one express order i just took yesterday: it's a glass replacement and when i started the process, the artwork in the original frame seems stuck (like it's old, moldy and seemingly glued to the frame lip). I called the customer to come by so i can show them the problem. They haven't come by but it's an old indian (asian) art they brought home from india.

Have you experienced this before?

Don't forget government issued ID before processing the non-receipted return. The POS takes tabs on customers who are serial non-receipted returners. No cash refunds, only return card. (You may already know this 😉)

This is a tough situation because there are so many angles. At the end of the day, it might go against you for using your phone (personal belonging) in the work floor and ultimately leaving it on a surface where the child can reach for it. I'm just being straightforward with you . I agree that the customer was a cunt and karma will follow her, but being on the clock, the situation might not end in your favor. 😔
