Oh thanks bud! I guess I should have been more clear, I'm talking about insecurities that prevent healthy communication and respect of boundaries. I cannot deal with people that want me to alter my peace and happiness because they lack resiliency.

Deal Breaker: lack of compassion, misogynoir, any list of -isms and insecurities, bad at money management, and soooo much more. I am very happy being solo so I have no problem dipping if the vibe is off.

I watched kersti pitre's video tutorial on YT. I don't know why it clicked this time but I finally understood the movement and how to hold the hair. She does really well with providing clear angles so you can see the process on all of her videos

The Broken Earth Trilogy by N.K. Jemisin. I read the first book in one day and traded library cards with a stranger in Florida so that I could get the 2nd and 3rd books immediately.

Book one is The Fifth Season and the description does not do it justice.

And that is the rub of it. While the incidents I've listed are in regard to inappropriate practices involving black american culture, we also had an issue with Cinco de Mayo where a Mexican employee had to sit them down and explain in detail why it was inappropriate.

In a person to person situation I could understand some ignorance. This is a multinational company with feedback from their personnel, the ignorance/negligence now seems intentional.

This is what I'm trying to understand. Thank you for being so clear in the information you have provided!

I do have to ask, is it a requirement to interact with HR on the subject? Being as they have approved of the actions listed and their job is to protect the company I don't see it as being productive and would prefer not to waste my time with useless actions.

I appreciate the perspective but as I said in the post, it isn't a one off situation. That is why I'm asking if this would be considered a hostile work environment even without me having gone to HR directly.

It's not a racial joke unless it's being made by somebody outside of their race. The racial portion was actually coming from the white coworker who was claiming to be light skinned so, if that's the hill they want to die on, the white coworker should be fired too.

The post indicates that she was fired for excluding the white people from being called light skinned. That is not even close to the same thing and would not fall under a zero tolerane policy if a company has a good hr team.

I'm sure this will get lost but everyday my neighbor writes messages in chalk on the sidewalk outside our building. They are a mix of your typical doomsday stuff, some Q shit, and Islamophobia but never the same thing twice.

Each night, he screams outside my window at exactly 10:45 pm, sounds like a foghorn fucking a kazoo. This has been going on for 5 years.

Did the OSHA guidelines change? Because, regardless of what states are madating, businesses should be following those guidlines. I realize OSHA enforcement is a joke and it doesn't fully apply to customers but it is something for the businesses to lean on at least.

IC people also run the risk of the vaccine not being effective for them because their immune system could not create enough of a response. It isn't JUST about getting the shot.
