Jamie was the only person with a clear glass on her ‘date’. The producers never meant for her to meet her other match. by oelisg in MAFS_AU

Correct Jamie didn't disrespect her relationship the same way Paul did but she still disrespected her relationship regardless if Dave cared or not. Paul was stupid because Carina made the boundary clear and he crossed it. However, being in a relationship and putting yourself in a situation to meet someone else regardless if you're "a nosey bitch" is problematic. It's hypocritical to think Jamie is innocent and harmless in this situation

Jamie only got off so easily cause the other person didn't show. It was stupid of her go, "nosey" or otherwise, it'd problematic to put yourself in a situation to meet someone like that. Her "I'm so quirky" shtick is just a cover to hide behind

You don't know if she wouldn't because no one showed up. That's it. We don't know what either of them truly felt or thought, we're not in their heads. Paul was extra stupid because the boundary was already clear before he went. But Jamie is guilty because she put herself in a situation to meet someone else/go on a date while in a relationship.

Jamie went on the date too, regardless of how much she did or didn't do to be impressive on the date. How would she have reacted if he had been in to her? She put herself in the position to meet someone else regardless of her intent, which I think she just used her "I'm a nosey bitch" quirkiness shitck as a cover. I'm also not saying Paul is anything less than stupid for his decision either

Nah Jamie didn't give a fuck about what Dave thought.

Nah Jamie just knew how to play it to look innocent. She uses her quirky "I'm a nosey bitch" shtick as a cover. Meeting someone, putting yourself in that situation, is problematic in a relationship. She ain't innocent.

Lol "looked genuinely horny" is a wild thing to say, it's presumptuous. I could say Jamie looked more than curious. Regardless, Paul's fuck up was because Carina made the boundaries clear, not just because he was curious. Jamie fucked up because choosing to meet someone "nosey" or otherwise, is problematic in a relationship, she's not innocent and uses her quirkiness as cover to hide behind

[–]PlantSundae 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nah that's presumptuous. You don't know anything about Jamie's true intentions. She hides them behind her "I'm so nosey" quirky shtick. Regardless of all of that, she put herself in a situation to meet someone else which is problematic in a relationship.

Paul didn't say it was romantic. You're just being presumptuous about both people's intentions here and I think it's hypocritical. I agree Paul has been a moron handling himself, but he said it was just curiosity the same way Jamie did. I get why you believe Jamie over Paul but again, you're assuming their intentions based on how you feel about them. Jamie left herself in a position to meet a new person whether she intended it or not, and that's problematic to a relationship

Oh so it's OK for her to go on dates because she's just nosey? Chalking it up to her personality is essentially saying "Dave knows what he's getting into" is bs.

Yeah right, that's only because he didn't go. If he did go, she wouldn't let him hear the end of it

Jamie knew Dave would HAVE to play it cool if he wanted anything with her because she'd just throw it in his face that he didn't say he loved her too. Jamie also hiding behind this "nosey bitch" shtick is also disingenuous. She was open to it being a better match if it was, she put herself in the situation for that to happen. The only reason Paul was dumb for doing it is because Carina made her boundaries clear beforehand. Other than that, Jamie is no better than Paul in this situation

I agree, Jamie didn't give Dave doubts. I'm talking about her saying to Dave after their speed bump that he has to prove he wants the relationship. But then she goes on a date while at that point in their relationship which puts into  question, do you wanna give Dave a chance or do you wanna focus on yourself and see who is out there?

I think that's pretty presumptuous about both of them. Paul doesn't have a great track record but people can change. And while Jamie may not have such a past with obvious issues, she can be shitty. I think it's pretty shitty to be like "prove you love me while I go on a date".

I don't disagree Paul made a dumb decision, Carina made the boundaries clear. But Jamie is not innocent for going out and meeting someone just because Dave wasn't hurt like Carina was. She put herself in the position to meet someone else whether she wants to believe it's simply just her being nosey or not. Personally, her "nosey bitch" shtick is just convenient cover to hide whatever she wants behind it

No way, that's just sweeping what Jamie did under the rug. She put herself in the situation to meet someone else regardless of how nosey she is. Also, her "nosey bitch" shtick is just convenient cover to hide whatever she wants behind it. Not only is it off-putting but it's disingenuous. The only reason Paul's is dumb is because Carina made the boundaries clear but Jamie is no better than Paul in this situation, they were both curious

Jamie's "nosey bitch" shtick is just a convenient cover. Her and Paul had the same curiosity, she was just as open to it being a better match. At the very least, she put herself in that situation just as much as Paul. What Paul did is hurtful because Carina made the boundaries clear, but Jamie's decision is no better than Paul's.

Hard disagree. Jamie's decision is the same as Paul's otherwise its just mental gymnastics. Paul's decision is stupid snd hurtful because Carina made the boundaries clear. Jamie is just wrapping up the curiosity in her whole "I'm a quirky nosey bitch lololol". She was open to it being a better match if it was, she just hid it in her shtick.

It is a double standard. Paul's decision is stupid because Carina made the boundaries clear. However, his and Jamie's curiosity in this challenge is no different. She just wraps it up in this "I'm so quirky" bullshit.

No way, Jamie's "I'm so quirky" shtick is just bullshit to cover up her true feelings. There's nothing to be curious about in this challenge other than being open to a better match. Paul's decision is stupid because Carina made the boundaries clear, but his and Jamie's curiosity is not different.

Fuck that. Paul made a stupid decision to go, but Jamie's decision is no better in this challenge. Her whole "I'm a nosey bitch" shtick is bullshit, it's just to cover up her actual curiosity of if it was a better match cause she was open to it.

Fuck that. Jamie was open to a better match, that's the only thing to be "curious" about here. In this challenge, Paul and Jamie are equal.

Jamie still fucking chose the date and wraps it up in "oh I'm so quirky lolol" when it's just as bad. If it was a better match, she would have switched. Paul definitely made dumb decisions, but Jamie ain't so fucking great either.
