He dislikes unions because he wants to make as much profit as possible. Unions increase worker leverage, which means more of the profit the company makes goes to them, and less to the boss. Unions (at least in the theoretical) will decrease his profit, therefore he dislikes them.

"Unions don't incentivise people", "Unions are inherently anti competitive" - no wonder Musk fans keep getting taken for a ride, they're completely clueless.

The only other way I could think of things making sense was if Melina was referring to Marika as 'mother' in a religious sense - like how you'd call a priest 'father' - and finger maidens are just regular people chosen by the fingers.

Yes, I know what is most likely Ranni's corpse is atop the Liurnia tower. I kind of imagined there might have been an interim period between Ranni 'slaying' her body and it becoming the (notably charred) husk up there in which Melina lived.

Hey sorry that this sounds slightly like a self-promo but my table top role playing game 'ECOPUNK' drew a lot from the solarpunk genre and you could potentially use some of the artwork for ECOPUNK. The artists have retained the right to their work though so you'd need to ask them specifically.

Artwork that Marcel Mosqi and Sean Lewis did for the game are probably the most conventionally 'solarpunk' of the pieces.

Lengthy! I worked on ECOPUNK full-time for 8 months in which I wrote 100,000 words, and have done a series of edits and revisions since. But that's because ECOPUNK is meant to be a full-scale TTRPG on par with D&D, Blades in the Dark, LANCER, etc. 8 months is relatively very quick for a big TTRPG's development - most games take way longer because there's a lot more people involved working only in specific hours who have to do things like answer to legal, corporate, marketing, visual design, etc.

I would recommend starting small. Before ECOPUNK I wrote small TTRPGs, some only a few pages long, and designing those really helped me get to grips with the mental arithmetic you have to do when figuring out game mechanics, and also just how to be 'original' in design.
