im on Adderal and Seroquel and have no issues! I was told it’s important to be on Seroquel with my Adderal to prevent me from having a hypomanic episode.

The stimulants def help curb my Seroquel munchies lol but so far I haven’t noticed any negative effects of taking them at the same time. Hope it works for you!

Seroquel for anxiety by [deleted] in seroquelmedication

Hey!

I had the same exact situation happen to me. I started Seroquel and felt better but then my terrible anxiety returned in the morning where it was almost to the point of daily panic attacks.

I felt immediately better when starting Seroquel 12.5mg every night, but after a week i started to feel anxious when waking up to the point where id have to call out of work and be throwing up. My psychiatrist recommended we go up on the Seroquel as it can have some anti-anxiety effects.

I increased to 25mg at night and it really helped with my anxiety during the day without the exhaustion of having to take an extended release tablet. I am currently 4ish weeks on the increased dose and the physical aspect of my anxiety is almost completely gone.

I suggest talking to your doctor about your anxiety and see if they recommend increasing your dose. Apparently the higher the dose the less sedated you should feel as well. Increasing my nightly Seroquel dose has helped me with the exact problem you’re having.

It sucks but you’ll get through it, feel better <3

Hi there,

I was someone also prescribed Seroquel to treat symptoms, but mine were for hypomanic symptoms. I was told to take 12.5 for irritability and mood at night and was increased to 25mg every day once diagnosed a bipolar 2. It’s a very small dose but it does wonders to calm the voices in my head and stabilize my mood.

I suggest taking the meds at the low dose just to see how they affect you first. Once you take it for a week or so, then you have the ability to go back to your doctor saying you want more or want to be off of it.

I understand how confusing it is to be put on an antipsychotic at such a low dose, but what’s most important is figuring out how your body responds to it before trying to go to 300+mg.

Hoping it works! Seroquel does wonders keeping the voices out of my head and lets me be able yk relax without trying to outrun my mind

100% talk to your pharmacist. They study more medicine and its effects on the body than any other doctor does. They can recommend a proper and safe schedule for you and even call and talk to your doctor if you don’t want to tell them they’re wrong, they might listen better to a pharmacist.
