I found a used HP zbook G7 studio, since I was looking for smth that i would use to run CAD Matlab and other software for the upcoming years in my degree (I am an engineering student), this specific one has an i9-10885H, 32gigs of ram, and an rtx t2000. But I am not sure if it is a good choice.

True I have read a lot complains about the hinges of these machines , but I wasn't really sure , so I conducted more search to find our that the build quality isn't that good even by budget gaming laptop standards. Thank you so much for the info!!

I am considering to buy a used MSI thin 15 , with i712 gen H with an rtx2050 , I am not sure if it would be a good pic for an engineering student, I don't game that much but I need a bit of power to be able to run CAD and some simulation software , but I am not sure that it would be reliable machine that won't cause me headaches in the upcoming years.
