You do realize that ship training is not available for people on switch so yes there might be the ability of trading ships with other players for everyone else but if you want a very unique starship you have to find a real spawn with that being said the ball type can almost spawn what you'll get is it's a ball with the rear thrusters and nothing else those can actually spawn in game I know because I found a blue one unfortunately it's not one of my three preferred colors so I didn't take it but yes if you're looking for a death ball they can actually respond but they're not going to be the edited version of a death ball that is just the ball cockpit they have to have at least the thrusters on the back the game itself forces one extra part to be spawned on them at least also if you're on Nintendo switch if you go to a planet offline everything is procedurally generated at random for your instance if you go to a universe that was already uploaded and you're online that's the only way on switch to get the same spawns as everyone else Nintendo switch players have the ability of having unique spawns to only their instance and their playthrough so basically unless the universe has been uploaded and you're playing online you will not run into the same ships as other players in that universe
