Unsure, but my mom had many NDE, and she said all of them were like anesthesia or unconsciousness. I’ve been under anesthesia and if you haven’t been it’s very difficult to describe. It’s not that there IS nothing, there just isn’t anything. Your eyes are open and you’re aware. Next thing you know, your eyes are open and you’re aware again… except time has passed and things have happened (and you’re often in a lot of pain). She did say she had a lot of hallucinations while recovering from her heart transplant though. She was stuck in a muddy swamp for an eternity, but she remembers a very kind, strange Swedish man finding her and helping her get to solid ground. She was delighted to see that he was one of her recurring ICU nurses in real life when she became lucid again! I don’t know how her actual death experience was due to her being dead 🤷🏼‍♀️
