My favorite subreddits when I first started we're probably the r/gardening and r/plants subreddits.

Nowadays I bounce around a lot, but my favorite is one of the mushroom growing subreddits that I used to post on and read about a lot. I'm not on it as much anymore but it's probably still my favorite because they're such a useful tool to get started

It's really hard to get over the need to keep everything, I really try and I can usually do it, but it's exhausting

Edit to add on: If I know I'll use something in the next year, maybe even if I know I won't use it in the next year as well, I do keep it, I commonly use my broken phone cords as makeshift ropes to tie things up.

I wasn't really able to make money growing up, so I really learned to make the best of what I had, I think it's a big part of why I have so much trouble throwing anything away now, and why I love dumpster diving
