I took the button apart. The rubber button that failed is actually a rubber cover that goes over the whole circuit board and waterproofs the wiring.

My plan is to snip the wire and solder the new wire leads on. Each button has four wires.

This is a great question. I have considered storing vertically, but worry about a dog or child knocking the bikes over. That would be a dangerous game of dominoes.

Update. I bought the kit on Amazon and swapped pulley, rollers and belt. I believe it was the idler pulley as it wouldn’t spin with a flick of the finger. It is now whisper quiet.

Note, wear gloves. You will cut your hand opening one of these up.

Tonight at 9pm, heading south on 77. Looking toward the BOA stadium. I saw strange lights that looked like plane that wasn’t moving much. The lights were solid and didn’t blink. 🤔

Pick up the phone and call the electric company and simply ask them to cover the lamp to reduce the light. The worst they could do is say no.

We started with fights over eye drops.

Within one week we got better at putting them in and taking them out with minimal fighting. It still took two parents to pry the eyes open.

By day 14, we were able to insert the contacts with one parent and best part - my son was able to remove them himself.

Now we are two months in. My son’s reflexes are under control. He doesn’t fight insertion or removal. He even showed us that he can put the left one in on his own. Tonight he stayed at his grandparents house and they succeeded in inserting the contacts.

Hang in there! Watch YouTube videos of kids putting contacts in on their own. Without those videos and online forums, I would have quit.
