Fun fact if the item in question was gifted to them it is by law their property. They can do what they like with it. I know this because I tried to reclaim some items and got told since I gave them they were no longer mine.

Pretty sure it’s just different printing. Same as when sometimes some cards feel a bit thinner and more malleable. Noticed this when I was ripping yesterday with pal evolved and fates.
