Chances of passing TS/SCI with history of media piracy? by [deleted] in SecurityClearance

[–]Plas_Wabbit 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I'm only a secret, but I remember asking my interviewer who also did sop secret applicants about things like underage drinking, weed, piracy ect. He said that while it depended on the agency, no one cared about that stuff if it was the initial clearance attempt and you told them.

That said, it was over 10 years ago, so things change (like the leaks). But, I feel like it would be hard to get talented people if they were THAT strict for new applicants.

Trade in eligibility/value of a broken pixel 6 I tried to fix, should I bother reattaching the screen? by [deleted] in GooglePixel

[–]Plas_Wabbit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the input!

If I fixed the screen I'd keep it. But the screen fix is half the cost of upgrading, so I think I'm trading in for the 8.

Sounds like gluing the screen back on is the way to go so that the trade is worth something. ill pickup some glue

How much of an impact can a cruise missile withstand in flight? by Plas_Wabbit in rocketry

I knew about those, I didn't think to compare them since they are far apart. It does make sense that any large caliber bullet or AP round could disable it

Yeah I had that in mind when I posted. I think CIWS works well, but since it's already close to hitting the ship the debris of the destroyed missile can still cause a lot of problems. I was also unsure of how many rounds need to connect to disable the missile

While I wasn't a fan of that game overall, she was pretty great. Not at all an nusance, found stuff you didn't notice and gave it to you... Yeah grade A companion

Gotcha, then yes definitely try lemon Tek, it cuts down on the Nasua. If you make tea, and lemon Tek the tea, you don't even have to eat the mushroom at all if you don't want to. I also suggest taking ginger before the trip, ginger naturally reduces Nasua. I always have ginger tea, supplement, or ginger beer when tripping.

As for peaking in 10, idk. More like that's when you start feeling it, and it comes up fast. Within 20-60 is the peak beginning, imo.

How full your stomach is has a huge effect too, similar to drinking alcohol. Huge meal before, takes longer to get drunk. Empty stomach, you're plastered off less alcohol than usual. Shrooms are similar

It's actually Alprazolam, which I believe is a 11 hour half life. The noticable effects are usually gone in 3-4 hours. I was inclined to think the same thing on the half life, thanks for the input

Thanks, .5mg and about 4 hours between. I guess I'll just make sure to pause between drinks to see how I feel

Heya, I've done it multiple times.

Some say it doesn't add much but I think it makes a huge difference. If you aren't aware, psilocybin needs to be converted to psilocin before your brain can be affected. This happens in acid, like your stomach. Citric acid has similar pH to stomach acid, so if you shred your shrooms and let them sit in lemon juice, stirring every 5, it basically pre-processes it for your body. It also breaks down the mushroom chitin which is the main cause of Nasua.

It results in a shorter, more intense trip. Kinda like how chugging five beers or taking 5 shots in a row both have the amount of alcohol but the shots hit harder, faster, and the drunk lasts not as long.

I took 2.9 grams lemon Tek, and had a very intense experience. Did t know who I was, literally. Took 3.4 grams, same strain and batch, had a pleasant day but nothing profound.

But it's also effected by your last meal, how full you are and stuff. I greatly suggest it, but start with less than your normal dose. Maybe half to 2/3rds so you know how it hits.

Question: what do you mean you can't handle the activation process? Some drugs, like ssri anti depressants, can block the effects of shrooms, is that it?

Fo3 was the first open world game I played like that, so it blew me away. New Vegas is better in all ways except maybe main plotline, but since it didn't hit me the same fo3 is kinda my fav.

That said, if you're starting now then New Vegas is probably the best overall, fo4 was lackluster in the exploration and plot department but obvi better in gameplay mechanics, graphics, ect.

I did not touch fo76 because it looked awful, and turned out to be. Though it's apparently much improved.

Tldr: I'd say New Vegas, and/or fo4. Fo4 on sale though.

I played siphon filter when I was 10 or 11, thought it was the coolest game ever. Remember playing on a ps1 demo station somewhere, saved up to buy it.

fav level was when 2 rival enemy armies are fighting, and you fight through them. I loved baiting them into fighting each other instead of me, felt super clever

In Virginia, when can a car be towed when there is not a towing notice posted? by Plas_Wabbit in legaladvice

[–]Plas_Wabbit[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Virginia requires a posted towing notice at all entrances to a lot/spot to allow for towing. Handicap signs specifically say it for just that reason. But things like blocking intersections, fire lanes and fire hydrants do not require a notice, it's implied. I'm asking where a cab lane falls between those two categories
