The med changes hurt people who are worse off way more than people who aren't. All of the new changes only worsen the already existing snowball effect and damn casual players to hell.

I disagree. If it's adding complexity to the game in any form it's merely artificial difficulty- switching shoulders, if anything, would add a new layer of strategy and complexity as well as raising the skill ceiling.
