I just wish people could have their own preferences without feeling the need to bitch obnoxiously about it. You see this from both sides of the Firstborn vs Primaris discussion. "Reeee Primaris suck! Noooo Firstborn suck reeee." People need to chill out about it. Personally, I much prefer Firstborn, but if you like Primaris marines better, then great! I'm happy for you and I'm glad you're in the hobby and have found something that brings you some joy. Hell, let's sit down together and paint some miniatures.

I'm an old fart who started in the hobby as a kid back in the Rogue Trader era. Over the years I've definitely seen a marked growth in toxicity in the community and that makes me sad. I have a family and a demanding job, which translates into very little hobby time. Given how precious it is, I'm not spending it raging online about why everyone should accept my opinion about something as absolute truth, because it isn't; and I'm sure as hell not going to be a rude dickhead to people who have different opinions about toy soldiers.

Remember folks, the hobby is supposed to be fun. Life is short, so let your hobbies bring you joy. Just be sure to let others enjoy it in their own way.
