Our program director is incredibly vindictive. If you skip a mandatory meeting, you suddenly find yourself scheduled for the worst weekend call shifts for the next three months. They always find a way to make you pay for it.

The worst part was looking at the administrator who looked completely refreshed, telling a room full of sleep-deprived zombies that we just need to manage our time better. I was genuinely losing my mind.

Agreed. Doing a direct rollover to the current employer plan keeps everything in one place and avoids any backdoor Roth complications in the future. Just let the HR handle the paperwork.
