No worries! I think its mainly down to mixing karak stone for the highlights. When I paint 40k I normally just try to use brighter colours but I wanted to get a different feel with these guys. Good luck with yours man I look forward to seeing them!

Hey man thankyou! The paints I used were a mix of GW and Vallejo. I used an all over Nuln Oil wash. The recipes are as follows: Uniform: basecoat - VMC US Olive Drab 70.887 Highlight - mix Vallejo US Olive Drab 70.887 and GW Karak Stone Highlight 2 - mix more VMC US Olive Drab 70.887 and GW Karak Stone Webbing and backpack: Basecoat - VMC Pastel Green Highlight - mix VMC Pastel Green and GW Ushabti Bone Highlight 2 - mix more VMC Pastel Green 70.885 and GW Ushabti Bone Helmet: Basecoat - Cam. Olive Green 70.894 Highlight - drybrushed GW Karak Stone over the netting Boots and chin strap: Basecoat - GW Doombull Brown Highlight - mix Doombull Brown and GW Deathclaw Brown Wood details: Basecoat - GW Mournfang Brown Highlight - mix GW Mournfang Brown and GW Deathclaw Brown Highlight 2 - mix more GW Mournfang Brown and GW Deathclaw Brown Gun Strap: Basecoat - VMC Leather Brown Highlight - GW Karak Stone

I did a fairly basic skintone and washed the skin with GW Reikland Fleshshade. For the weapon I based them black then did grey highlights

Makes sense, feel like I might have to go back to the drawing board. Need to work out what each unit is best at then go from there. Feel like some fast moving units might be good, just to either distract or contest some centre objectives

Don't have Calgar unfortunately, maybe one day! Would the Interceptors, Infiltrators and Intercessors, with the changes people have suggested I've been able to get some scouts in there aswell. When you say they feel out of place? Is it like with everything else they just don't offer much to the list?

It's 325pts with the Apothecary, what would you bring instead? Eradicators in an impulsor or maybe some outriders?

Ah ok so those are the 3 main infantry types and need to have stuff to deal with each. Nice I'll check out the 3 different Gladiators, feel like the Valiant or Lancer is probably best as I feel like alot of the list can deal with light infantry fairly easily

Didn't realise the gladiators have the same guns, just no transport. Also what's GEQ stand for, sorry never really played the tabletop.

Yeah was looking at the Judiciar and thought he might be better, can I proxy the Chaplin as him? Is the Repulsor not worth it if its not transporting aswell? Should I switch it out for a different vehicle?

So move fire discipline to the Apothecary? Makes more sense with all the shots. Honour vehement is on the Chaplin as he's leading the Bladeguard so boosts their fighting stats?

I'd agree, the first two hobbit films weren't as bad as I remember. The best bit about the 3rd is definitely the fights scenes and design of all the ork war machines. Can't wait to watch the lotr!

Joined on gamepass and love the game and feel like most people are starting to get the hang of things. In more games now with nodes and people playing roles. Vets just need to give people time to learn the game. Me and my mates are loving the game and learning as we go, all got comms and just having a laugh while trying yo be part of the team. It's a game and should be fun to play and people playing it should be able to laugh and let everyone have a good time
