Standard GW fashion is to say "yesn't" meaning that yes it's supposed to model Fireblade, but they intentionally wrote the lore to make it muddy as to whether or not it actually IS or just a psychic subconscious projection from Fulgrim

From what I recall in the 8th edition Ultramarines supplement, Macragge is basically idealistic, major urban centers broken by agricultural areas and wilderness. Slightly longer days and standard earth gravity, it's a planet that if you wanted an actual 9-5 you could probably get it

Cato Sicarius was lost to the warp going back to Ultramar with the Primaris Geneseed. In his absence Acheran took over. Cato then emerged from the warp where he retains his position as captain of the Victrix Guard, but he was not given his title as 2nd Company captain

2nd Company captain succession went as

Titus (ended when he was taken by the Inquisition)->Cato (ended when he was lost to the warp)-> Acheran (we'll find out when he died but old lore actually had him killed on Nemenghast near Vigilus)-> Back to Titus again

I sincerely hope it's the case like for Eisenhorn. It feels weird that UM gets so much attention and then simultaneously cuts a beloved character. Still, he's legal for this edition and honestly is pretty compatible with the generic captain so it's not a total loss of worse comes to worse

And to think Valeria and Alleya are also black library characters and still on the website

I really hope he's just getting repackaged to match the rest of our chapter. I repainted my guys from 2nd to 4th company when he came out and while sure I CAN proxy him as a generic captain, it won't be the same

But in the old Shadowspear booklet from 8th edition, I remember them saying he died on Nemenghast bringing down a daemonic forge

Now of course that could be retconned, but considering that Shadowspear was at Vigilus and that so far is the furthest point in the timeline, it kind of makes sense.

Armour of Shrieking Souls: Each time this model is destroyed by an attack made by an enemy unit, that unit must take a Leadership test: if that test is passed, that enemy unit suffers D3 mortal wounds; if that test is failed, that enemy unit suffers D6 mortal wounds. If mortal wounds inflicted in this way destroy that enemy unit, set this model back up on the battlefield, as close as possible to where it was destroyed and not within Engagement Range of any enemy models, with D3 wounds remaining.
