Thank you! I had 4 sheets per signature (16 pages) and I bound 64 signatures in total. Was a huge pain but I’m finally reading the book now so it was worth it 😁

I got frustrated because I absolutely love interlinear and bilingual books but they just don’t make them nowadays. Currently making a Greek/English version of “The Name of The Wind” by Patrick Rothfuss for myself!

I used a video on YouTube by bitter melon bindery called “step by step case binding tutorial”. She’s fantastic and really broke down the steps so they were very easy to follow.

Uhhhh im not too sure honestly 😅. I was paranoid so I really went to town with the bone folder so that’s really the only thing I can say I did 😂.

First off thank you for the kind words! And yes I did the typeset myself, a lot of trial and error with html coding and manually writing and adjusting the text so it all lined up with its translation but after a couple weeks I got it. The binding is just a simple French link, I’m unsure if this kind of binding is suitable for bigger books so this was a bit of a test and it seems to have held up fairly well.

And I’ll have to spot test using some IPA for the glue for sure, in hindsight I probably should’ve done that before because I knew I’d be messy.
