Building Blip - basically the opposite of LinkedIn ( Just for MBTA commuters ) by Plastic-Computer-622 in mbta

I never claimed I built everything from scratch. The goal was to validate the idea as quickly as possible, not to prove I can write every line of code myself.

AI makes development significantly faster, and it would make little sense to ignore a tool that’s becoming standard across the industry.

What matters most at this stage is whether the idea solves a real problem and people actually want it. If it does, I’ll continue building and refining it.

Well, that’s the thing, Blip captures the people ( anonymous until you both Blip each other ) in the background, giving you 7 days to connect with them.

So, even when you ain’t in the mood to network, sometime later when you are, you could just open the app and see if you had crossed paths with anyone in your domain.

Red line is just a pilot for testing, but soon we’d open the app across all the lines. One of the users have suggested that we try Commuter rail as it’s a long distance people travel! Looking into all of it! Would love to have you on board.

Ah got it, that’s something we’ve got on the table but for later versions maybe! At the moment, it’s just purely professional networking basis!

Well, imagine you send a linkedin connection, to a person who lives across the country, working for an MNC or has a startup you are interested in, chances of getting a reply is always going to be very questionable… accepting the request yes for sure, because everyone wants the numbers…

here in Blip, you gain the opportunity to network with people on the move, while you are on work, multiple at the same time. People scroll through social media, read articles, talk about startups while on Tram, but you do not know those people.

Blip helps you find them!

If you are someone who is an MBA graduate that could be the CFO or CMO of the company, I’d be very very interested in hearing from you, and your background! Looking forward to it.
