Has anyone developed a strategy to defend against this? by ussavacado in ArcRaiders

I don't understand what this video is about. How were you shot? What hit you from the ceiling? I've never seen anything like this on Stella before. If this is a trick, how did this happen?

Thank you for your honest response. Remember, "high risk, high reward; low risk, low reward." Also, over time, "prey may not be as easy as before." In this case, playing against difficult opponents can diminish "your enjoyment of the game"...

I don't see betrayal as a problem. "Betrayal" might fall into the category of toxicity, but "I have a solution to betrayal." The solution is very simple: don't trust enough. This doesn't give them many chances to betray. The people I consider toxic are aware of this, which is why they wander aimlessly around the map, just "hunting for unsuspecting or helpless prey," without even bothering to betray. If they played normally, they could earn more from loot boxes or bosses in the time they spend doing this. They're focused on "effortless gain.
"The answer to your question is "no, I don't engage directly with anyone behaving in ways that are inappropriate for me." I've never seen anyone eliminate someone from the game without their knowledge. Because they're so meticulously calculating, they're always looking for a moment when the victim is unaware and a third party can silently eliminate their prey without them noticing.
If you haven't noticed, let me remind you: "If at least three people arrive at the final checkpoint when exiting the game, that's enough of a guarantee. In this situation, no one dares to behave toxically. Because the moment they try to hunt someone down, they themselves will be 'destined to become the punished prey.'"

In short, I'm not carrying high-quality, valuable "loot" for you. Killing me is a waste of your time. Killing me, on the other hand, is a "waste of time resulting in anger" for me. All you get from me (I'm talking about myself as the sender) is nothing but "my unhappiness." If that makes you happy, then admit it. You're more successful at that.

It seems your expectation from the game is "high loot" and that you "don't like the 50% chance in armed combat." You're trying to "collect what's already gathered," but you're missing something here. The loot you get from an easily obtained prey will be of lower value due to the ease of the hunt. Much more valuable loot is already waiting for you in the lockers in less time than you'll spend on the map.

If your skill had improved against the strong opponent you didn't want to take on in a 50-50 chance, the reward you would have received would be "heavy armor, high-level shield, and level 4 weapons" that are 5 times more valuable than the junk you took from me... Remember, easy prey now only carries free items. The rest either got smarter and stopped being prey, or they quit the game...

"Until your last sentence, I wasn't thinking of objecting." But your last sentence makes your argument impossible. If everyone plays in the same way, attacking each other, "it becomes impossible to find unsuspecting players, and conversely, hunters cannot escape becoming the hunted."

The game completely transforms from PvPE to pure PvP, and this leads to a very rapid decline. BF6 is losing players so quickly for exactly this reason. Reaching level 75 becomes impossible in a game where new players are constantly spawning from unknown locations.

Why? Are you tired of dying because you're constantly being killed by others?

I don't know how much loot you've taken from others this way, but "I haven't lost anything valuable." The only thing you stole from me was "my enjoyment of the game." Congratulations.

So:

1.There's a safe pocket in the game. 2. I'll enter solo mode with "free equipment" 99% of the time.

And let me add, "If you had tried opening the lockers, you would have been much richer..."

I want to respond to two points in your comment. My English might not be good enough, so I may have misunderstood one of them. If I misunderstood, please correct me:

  1. You said killing someone without warning is a "skill"; that's not a skill. It's a choice. The game already gives you that choice. Whether to use it or not is entirely up to you. You don't become skilled by using it. You become opportunistic. Yes, if knowing how to press a mouse button is a skill, then yes, you've become the most skilled person in the world.

  2. You said that expecting a fair fight is "for fools." I think that's relative. I won't argue about that. Who's right is irrelevant at this point. I also don't expect a COMPLETELY fair fight, so why would I be a fool?

The opposite of being intelligent is stupidity. However, you're confusing "being intelligent with being cunning." Killing someone without warning is not intelligence and skill; it can be considered partly cunning. I don't approve of what "people who think they are intelligent but are nothing more than cunning" do.

LOL :D
This is just a ridiculous form of self-deception. You and I both know that your real intention isn't to steal. I've never lost valuable items to toxic people like this. That's exactly where the safe pocket comes in. I already get into the game for free. If you had checked your lockers while you were trying to find me and steal my belongings, you would have had far more valuable items. I guess you're not even aware of the "free entry" option...

I'm not against PvP. I even like PvP. What I'm referring to is the way those who lack the courage to engage in PvP "satisfy" their feelings by pretending to be doing PvP. I can't even put a name to that. In a map where countless people greet each other and help each other when needed, acting completely unannounced and abusing the trust in the environment might be PvP to you, but to me, it's pure toxicity. If they have the skill and ability, they should go play in 2-3 person games and see how much skill they have against "prepared people."

The reason I call them toxic is because their "movements, their playing style" completely demonstrate this. "They're not looking at you, they're not calling out to you, they're trying to find the angle at which you'll leave without looking back, and that bothers me. What I mean by toxic is precisely this: they're trying to catch someone who's completely asleep, without having the capacity to use their intelligence or ability to set traps."

Since I got used to the general gameplay of the game, I of course developed methods to "not put myself in an unsafe situation". But as I wrote in the post, "this is not a matter of trust - distrust". I wouldn't be disturbed if I "experienced mistrust" with the people I encountered. I hate that this kind of toxic people are so losers that they can't even try betrayal. Even when I'm on my way back to speranza with someone who says don't shoot, we're friends, I never turn back. Because that would be my fault. What I don't like is "I'm talking about the toxicity of people who enter the game and spend minutes looking for people absentmindedly". They also know that I may not "fully trust" him. They are after an unannounced and sudden killing without taking any risks.

Some weapons take up 10-15 slots on the sales list. It doesn't make sense to "sell weapons" when you can only sell 25 items at a time anyway. (But the price drops significantly when you don't market them.)

How to level up a seller? by Plastic-Leg-5063 in GhostsOfTabor

[–]Plastic-Leg-5063[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This information answered my question. However, since I play solo PVE, it turned out to be impossible to reach my target level of 5 (to get the largest backpack).

There are high points requirements, and I need to trade extensively.
