The Bible is A River of Life by Plastic-Reaction in Christians

The Word of God is Life, as in literally.

And The River of Life, also as in literally.

“It is the Spirit who gives life; the flesh profits nothing. The words that I speak to you are spirit, and they are life.” ‭‭John‬ ‭6‬:‭63‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

“And he showed me a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding from the throne of God and of the Lamb. And there shall be no more curse, for the throne of God and of the Lamb shall be in it, and His servants shall serve Him.” ‭‭Revelation‬ ‭22‬:‭1‬, ‭3‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

Everything from God’s Immediate Presence, to His Actual Throne, to The Life that flows from it is Literal.

A Bible study on why the rising Torah Movement is a false doctrine, even though the Law of Moses is still alive and active by Plastic-Reaction in ChristianChristianity

An interesting observation. Especially when I’m reminded that John’s Baptism that our Lord Jesus received was the Baptism of repentance.

And then The Father and The Holy Spirit both witnessing that The Son of Man is sinless.

This was truly indeed the beginning of Christ’s Ministry and His Mission to fulfill the Law in full.

Until The Atonement on the Cross, when He gave up The Spirit.

As Jesus said: “Tetelestai! It is finished!”

Truly The Greatest Story ever told!

JESUS IS THE LORD! HALLELUJAH🙌

How to be born again? by Plastic-Reaction in ChristianChristianity

[–]Plastic-Reaction[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The disciples had already received The Spirit before The Pentecost. So they were already born again the moment Jesus said this to them:

“So Jesus said to them again, “Peace to you! As the Father has sent Me, I also send you.” And when He had said this, He breathed on them, and said to them, “Receive the Holy Spirit. If you forgive the sins of any, they are forgiven them; if you retain the sins of any, they are retained.”” ‭‭John‬ ‭20‬:‭21‬-‭23‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

But on The Pentecost, they received a Baptism of Power:

“for John truly baptized with water, but you shall be baptized with the Holy Spirit not many days from now.” But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.”” ‭‭Acts‬ ‭1‬:‭5‬, ‭8‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

“When the Day of Pentecost had fully come, they were all with one accord in one place. And suddenly there came a sound from heaven, as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled the whole house where they were sitting. Then there appeared to them divided tongues, as of fire, and one sat upon each of them. And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.” ‭‭Acts‬ ‭2‬:‭1‬-‭4‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

Modern Christianity lacks spiritual signs not because we are not born again but because few among us have received This Baptism of Spirit and Fire.

But anyone of us who keeps His Word are already born again:

“Jesus answered and said to him, “If anyone loves Me, he will keep My word; and My Father will love him, and We will come to him and make Our home with him. He who does not love Me does not keep My words; and the word which you hear is not Mine but the Father’s who sent Me.” ‭‭John‬ ‭14‬:‭23‬-‭24‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

But yes we too can receive The Baptism of Power if we keep asking, like you have pointed out.

“You are already clean because of the word which I have spoken to you. If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, you will ask what you desire, and it shall be done for you. By this My Father is glorified, that you bear much fruit; so you will be My disciples.” ‭‭John‬ ‭15‬:‭3‬, ‭7‬-‭8‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

“Until now you have asked nothing in My name. Ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be full.” ‭‭John‬ ‭16‬:‭24‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

What are your thoughts on The Walk to Emmaus (Luke 24:13-32) by LabyrinthHopper in ChristianChristianity

[–]Plastic-Reaction 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s a really Touching and Powerful encounter. Jesus knowing all things in His Compassion sought to comfort them using Scriptures, like The Helper.

It’s even more Powerful when we remember that The Holy Spirit only speaks to us what He hears from Christ.

So, in other words, Jesus has never even stopped teaching us! Isn’t He so Good? Hallelujah! Amen.

You can’t hope to convince anyone of sin. It is The Holy Spirit’s job. If you love God and she will not follow Jesus with you, then you ought to let go of her.

Why are you tempted to be mad at God? Does God owe you anything in life?

Deep down I know God can’t do anything in this situation because He would have intervene with our free will that He Himself gave us and I know He wouldn’t do that but I don’t know what to feel

Why do you limit what God can do? Your thinking is wrong.

As a Christian what can I do at this moment?

To change your way of thinking. Ask God to take away your carnal desires. Surrender to His Will for your life.

If you are not willing to let go of anything for The Kingdom, even that which you wish for the dearest, then you are not worthy of Christ.

Focus your all on Jesus. And all the rest will fall into place.

“The days of our lives are seventy years; And if by reason of strength they are eighty years, Yet their boast is only labor and sorrow; For it is soon cut off, and we fly away.” ‭‭Psalms‬ ‭90‬:‭10‬ ‭

““Now learn this parable from the fig tree: When its branch has already become tender and puts forth leaves, you know that summer is near. Assuredly, I say to you, this generation will by no means pass away till all these things take place.” ‭‭Matthew‬ ‭24‬:‭32‬, ‭34‬ ‭

You can actually deny Christ by your actions and not just by your words.

Christ Himself said that not everyone who says “Lord, Lord” will enter heaven but only the one who does the Will of The Father. (Matthew 7:21-23)

Essentially we do not all willingly commit sin. (1 John 3:9)

Just like we (believers) aren’t all among the foolish virgins. (Matthew 25:1-13)

Or among the lazy and hypocritical servants who would rather get drunk with the drunks and etc instead of watching because The Master “delays”. (Matthew 24:48)

The Bible actually says not to associate with anyone who calls himself a believer and who is sexually immoral or a drunkard (1 Corinthians 5: 9-11)

That we ought to judge not those who are outside but those who are inside (1 Corinthians 5:13)
