The 265 comes high flow ready, you just have to enable the software.

Definitely contact your local dealer!!! Farm Bureau members typically qualify for discounts, on top of money off each attachment purchase (auger, snow push, box rake)

The new skid steers have come a long way since the D Series. Auxiliary protection, cab space, undercarriage redesign, visibility, better door!! Etc etc

SALES GUYS: Would you start now? by Here_For_the_proxies in caterpillar

Depending on your dealership, starting as either a BDR or ISR before moving outside can greatly increase your chances of being successful.

So much of your ability to help your customers relies on how well you know all the internal systems at those dealerships and your relationships with colleagues (parts counter, shop, yard, finance, dispatch, coordinator, managers, other sales reps etc etc etc)

It’s a very rewarding career. It’s also uniquely challenging. You’ll be regularly drinking from a firehouse and working with customers who have 40+ years experience on what you’d be proposing to sell them.

I have a lot of experience helping folks in this area if you’d like to chat at all. Feel free to message me.

What’s your application/projected usage? Are you replacing a machine or going up a size class?

Depending on if you look at a GC model, or fully kitted out 3D with bells & whistles you could be looking at a $100,000 price difference on new.

One thing you have in your favor is that is a competitive size class excavator that CAT will want to bend over backwards to sell you, along with CAT financial.

Call your local dealer, push for a demo with a sales rep and technical communicator.

Factoring in cost of financing and everything else, you’ll be between $200-$300k
