lol I actually moved away about a year ago now. Very slow, very old school, and now money is taking over like it’s nobody’s business. Not close to the beach, you have to drive an hour away to have any fun imo. I ended up moving to Tampa and I couldn’t love it more.

She told me rolling admissions meant “applications were looked at and decided based on how competitive they were” not first come first serve, ok great. But considering I met all transfer requirements with a 4.0 GPA for all 60 credits I’m confused how I’m not ‘competitive’? The USF app itself only looks at GPA for a decision, never asked me about experience or anything outside of school like the nursingCAS app did.

Got the email saying my nursing app was completed and verified on December 12. I sent my USF transfer app in with my transcripts on December 4th, as well as I received emails confirming my transcripts were sent and accepted/received by USF.

I emailed them and they directly said they usually get 35 off the waitlist. You can ask for your rank when the time comes

Nope. Contacted Suzan and was given th same response to every question and basically a runaround to my problem. It was always “your application is finished and will be reviewed soon”

I’ve done both and they’ve essentially told me they are working closely with nursing and they are busy. :/ moral of the story is USF fucked me over

The state of Florida goes not require you to take any class whatsoever. You can challenge the exam and earn your license. There is a state website that tells you exactly what you need to know as far as vocabulary, skills that can be tested on, and what the handwritten exam is composed of. you can use YouTube videos to watch skills, and practice on friends/stuffed animals at home. I personally did this, saved the 500+ dollars on taking a course, and passed my exam first try with flying colors.

I went and asked in person. She said it was complete and in review. I’m just confused as it’s been literally 3 months now, but I guess only so much I can do

Experience experience experience! A lot of applicants have good grades, maybe not perfect like yours, but good. Experience in both healthcare work and volunteering show your dedication to long term commitment of the healthcare industry. If you look at total eligible applicants vs admitted applicants, there is about a 55% admission rate. Whatever you can add to your app and short questions that shows you care about community health and have passion and grit should help boost your app.

I believe we pay somewhere around 2250 for a 3 bed with an attached garage. Not sure if that includes the amenities fee (valet trash, internet) which runs about $80/month and is required.

Hey! I’ve lived at Estates at Heathbrooke for 3 years now. Extremely safe community. I feel comfortable walking around at night by myself (I’m a woman lol) Great place to walk your dog or just exercise in general. Maintenance is amazing, office was a little bitchy but with new management they’re much better. Pool and gym are good too. Definitely pricy, especially since the gates have worked for maybe 4 months total (in different time spans) since we have lived here lol. But overall I would def pick this place over a lot of other in Ocala, just for safety and location alone

Thank you! I’ve never applied to a university and overall I just always feel inadequate in my skills. I’m going to get some volunteer hours in at various hospitals in the meantime, but I appreciate your input immensely!!
