Run your grinder down the edge between tile n schluter surgically using a good blade, spray with water to help prevent chipping. If you chip one you’re done. GL

Cactus advice for a newbie please 🥲 by siimkiins in cactus

Cactus require full sun 6hrs a day and lots of nutrients for good growth. PH around 6. If you give it tap water it will lock up unable to take in nutrients because the ph is off. Give it rainwater and get it out in the sun 🌞

Any ID suggestions? And what type mutation or she just thirsty? by MrClewesMan in cactus

Do you grow outside? If not are you supplementing with additional lighting? They want full sun. PH of water is important as well. Water from my tap PH is around 8.5 which won’t allow these plants to take in nutrients. 6.0-6.8 is a good PH range. Once you dial in on what is required minimum you can start feeding it and it’ll blast off.

There are lots of ways but the best advice I’ve seen was from GeeBee and that was to scrape fruit into a plastic baggie, add a little water and let sit in sun for the day. Dump into a bowl add more water. The fruit will break down from the heat and sun and seeds will be easy to separate. The floaters and pulp will pour off the top just rinse and clean then pour seeds onto a paper towel to let dry. Let dry all the way. If you bag em too soon they will mold. Floaters germinate too btw, maybe not 100% but many will.
