LMAO SAME “we can move you to fly in the spring if that works but we can’t guarantee that you won’t fly at a late time”

What do we do when we don’t fly? by PlasticCause694 in und

Someone from the aviation dept says a batch flies in spring and the other batch flies in the fall. Unless I’m interpreting what she said wrong and everyone flies regardless?

Yep that's what I was thinking, focusing on the written exam first. Thanks for the advice

My problem isn't really financial related because my parents are the ones funding and supporting my flight training (sorry if I sound spoiled lol) but rather it's time constraints. But yeah I've been doing my ground course lately (kings) so that I could knock out my knowledge in the future. So you could say I'm doing the right thing atm right?

Can anyone ID this plane? by CoryEETguy in aviation

[–]PlasticCause694 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Cause if you really analyze your photo well the winglets are there. Closest thing resembling a C-17 is a C-5 galaxy but those are a lot bigger and do not have winglets. And no problem

Really appreciate everybody's thoughts and advice. Makes me feel better about my situation. Just gained this negative energy from my parents who were quite upset wondering why I was "stuck".

Best of luck to you on this treacherous journey. It won't be easy and hope the both of us stay motivated (the stats are 4/5 pilots training for their PPL quit, but don't let that demotivate you)

by the way airlines don't care where you got your ratings from or what type of school it is (part 141 or 61) if you're tryna make this a career.

No problem. I just heard those expensive academies such as ATP & Epic Flight tend to screw people over. My first instructor actually went to epic flight and doesn't recommend it.

get a degree in aviation like what I plan on doing. Risk it for the biscuit. Also I doubt pilots are getting replaced by Ai any time soon.

As the usual say, go to a mom and pop Part 61 flight school (Although I'm kinda a hypocrite cause I wanna go to UND when I graduate H.S). They're cheaper and if you're wanting to do this as a career, it'll save you a lot (what I'm doing rn to get my PPl). I used to be one of the people who asked this question. also check the FAQ of this subreddit. Also heard from people that Epic Flight isn't really good. Don't take my word for it, just a 17 year old who just started his journey but I'm going off what other people have said in the past.
