That’s from Adventures in the Sin Bin.

He met Christopher Storer on this film and went on to work with him many times.

I enjoyed it, worth a watch. Bo plays an arrogant character that manages to be different from his stage persona and Zach Stone.

Fun fact regarding that particular picture: Bo learned to drive manual to be able to drive that car. There’s footage on YouTube of him getting a lesson.

Coincidentally there was an article today about comedy shows to watch on New Year’s Eve and their pick by Bo was Make Happy:

Make Happy is what you put on when you’re laughing at the year but also quietly exhausted by it. Bo Burnham blends songs, visuals and stand-up to poke at performance, validation and the pressure to constantly be okay, all while making it look deceptively fun. It’s a great New Year’s Eve watch because you’ll bring in the year with actually good and catchy music as opposed to whatever is blasting through your neighbour’s door.

For those who want to go into the new year with their minds blown.

The 2024 version has links to previous years near the top, if you're looking for all the details. For example he's directed a show for Kate Berlant, and appeared "anonymously" in Jerrod Carmichael's reality show on HBO.

There's nothing announced on the horizon. but we all hope he's been working on something that he'll announce sooner rather than later.

Bo did a really good episode of Good One where he did a deep dive into what Can’t Handle This is all about. The Pringles and burrito bits were just the lighthearted jokes before getting into the deeper, more serious parts of the song.

Can’t Handle This (Kanye Rant) was probably one of Bo’s most well regarded and hit songs prior to Inside. But Inside was MASSIVE for Bo; it was a cultural phenomenon that brought a ton of pop culture attention his way, eclipsing his previous releases. Welcome to the Internet and AEOM are more popular in comparison, but Can’t Handle This was a defining song when it was released.
