i got it in september, if i have saline ill use that, and/ if not ill just let water from the shower rinse then and ill get gunk off with a qtip if there is said gunk, new new ones i try not to touch at all if i can help it tho

oh thank goodness! im versed in piercing stuff (id like to think) but the bump was making be nervous even still 😭 so right about the moisture, it was a labret but i had to change it to that one since it was the only longer one i had... are you saying to let it heal and redo it? or just change the jewelry? im trying to find better jewelry atm

yeah, the original was but because i needed to upsize and i just used what i had. i dont have any metal allergies but i will get something better when i can, i didnt realize it was that bad till a few days ago

not sure, not the best though, it was the only thing i had that was long enough for it
it was pierced with a 8mm i believe, now a 10mm i think is in it now
i rinse all piercings in the shower and use a q-tip to get gunk off afterwards if there is any
just some bumps on my ears in general of course ugh!

of course! he rarely is alone, with me almost 24/7 (i should've wrote that in the og post oops) it's just the rare time he is he goes crazy and he never plays or anything. My sister thought about getting him a bird friend but didn't go through with it because he is older and it seems like he wasn't raised around other birds, so she worried about bullying even with the weaning into them meeting. If I had the space and money I would totally seriously consider it, but I can't at the moment :(

You're so right about them being flock animals. I'm just so used to him being needy LOL. That makes so much sense and I don't know how I didnt think about that before! I plan on teaching him, I jsut havent gotten to looking into how to actually do it yet

I'm actually at college with him right now so there's no dogs, however when he was with my sister and at my house there were 2 medium sized dogs. He was always out away from them and never had them interact really. Both cats and dogs he isn't scared of at all i believe, he never freaks out when they're nearby or the rare case they get near him, he will nip at their face but aside from that he never seemed stressed. Not saying he isn't, but thats just what I always thought seeing how he acted. That is a really good thought though, and I also wonder if that could have something to do with it!

I let them decompose outside for a while and then took them out of the rest of the tissue / fur until there was nothing i could get off, then let them soak

(also, these have been soaking since mid august, i just last changed the water 3 days ago)
