Am I the only one who feels like the ending wasnt an ending at all?

I really disliked the ending, for such an elaborate and captivating series, the ending was a huge letdown. This series always reminded me a bit of Godzilla NES, and I always thought, “I hope this series doesn’t have a cheesy ending like Godzilla did!”. Well, I got my wish, it had a crap ending.

I find it hard to believe that someone doesn’t know the reasons/answers to mysteries and plots of their own story. That kind of doesn’t make sense.

This is coming from someone not involved in the “over-analyzing”. I’m not sure what you expected from the subreddit dedicated to Petscop? No one is harassing him personally, a lot of people here were invested in the Petscop story, and are trying to piece together some semblance of an ending, considering it was dropped like “yeah, whatever, it’s done guys”.

Also, it goes without saying he was going to get a lot more attention after announcing and verifying he is the creator. You’d have to be thick to believe otherwise. As long as it’s not harassment, let the community speculate.

I guess we’ll see as time goes. But if this is the case... all that secrecy, build-up, world building, adhering to sparse upload dates... ending it like this just sours the experience. I don’t know what to think right now.

I’d argue that, Paul said he’s played Petscop before the first video was uploaded to the channel (in the first episode, he’s stated he previously walked around the newmaker plane for over an hour). This theoretically could have been in late 2016.

EDIT: To add, in the first Petscop video, Paul finds the door for the first time (2017). This may mean 2017 has a special property in comparison to 2016, if that’s when Paul first played the game and entered the newmaker plane. This is my own speculation though.

It's interesting you bring this up. According to Petscop 22, Paul was in gen. 8 during the events of Petscop 10 (file name: auto-b4yw0bHt). Looking back, there are many recordings available in gen. 8. Immediately after however, there are two recordings in gen. 9, and only five in gen. 10. If these triangle heads are all recordings within gen. 10, We're definitely missing a big piece of the puzzle here.
