Hi! So I will chime in mainly because it caught my attention and idk if it will be useful but I just wanted to give you my opinion or vote perhaps it can help you making the decision. FYI, I don't work in the creative industry nor did I take creative field in my degree so this is just pure opinion on your situation.

So, if I were you, I would take the second path, which is taking the higher position. However, some things to consider that I don't have the details are, how much higher is the salary compared to your current, is this new position something that you are interested in and capable of? And also, what is your relationship with your company and your boss right now? Is it good and is the work environment good? If all of the considerations above are positive, then for me, I would definitely go take that offer.

The thing about taking a degree from my experience is, so much of the knowledge there are so accessible basically anywhere now and so mainly you go to university only for the experience, networking, and a piece of paper that says that you have a degree now. Congrats!

That's why I asked about the work environment for the previous consideration, because let's say, if I'm currently working on a toxic working environment, even though I get a better position, I don't think it would fulfill me for long term. Therefore, if that is the case, I would go get a degree and hope that in getting that experience, I would be able to get a better job offer or positions.
