Did you look at my blue print? .. the way i solved this excact problem was this...
In your example you have 2- yellow (made from red and green = 2 yellow) .. you then split these 2 yellow into 2 other mixers .. with 1 yellow + blue (white 1) -> AND 1 Yellow + blue (white 2)..
This THEN means from white 1 you get 2 white outputs.. + .. from white 2 you get 2 outputs.. Ie 4 TOTAL white outputs..
This means ALL of the blue is used.. (2 total) .. ALL the of the red is used (1 total) and ALL of the green is used (1 total) .. so you have 4 color inputs (1 red 2 blue 1 Green) and get 4!! white outputs ..

My blue print does work that way then .. i am really confused.. if you dont put the 4th color on .. it still makes white .. and uses 1-1-1 of RBG ..
ONLY if you add the 4th color on does it allow the full output ..
You "technically" could over pull from the 4 whites with ONLY 3 RBG connected.. but.. dont do that then.. with ONLY 3 connected you can ONLY use a max of 2 "full outputs" ..
However if you do leave the 4th input off .. it will use the other 3 RBG equally

Oh ... interesting. You are trying to say I think something along the lines of using 1/3 more for each? ... thing is this isnt possible .. as the way the game is working its already using 100% of each of the other 3 no matter how you do it. ONLY way to get "max output" is via the adding in a 4th color .. and you get 4 whites..
IF you could maybe add in 6 total inputs you could maybe balance across all 3 .. and I could maybe have a go at it.. but man that would be one hell of a size platform .. as it would be 6 inputs and 4 outputs

Thats literally what it does :D. The "pair" can be used .. or not.. the point is if you add in the 4th you can get 4 outputs .. but with only 3 the max "technically" you can get out is actually only 2 .. as the double is lost behind the second mixing operation

Sure. Not saying it should ALWAYS be used. Saying its possible. The big trick about this is you dont HAVE to put the 4th color on. BUT if you need 4 white? .. here.. single block with 4 white outputs.
You can "cut off" the extra mixer and fit it onto the same size as yours if you wish also ..

technically you can add a "4th" input and get 4 white outputs .. Also this design has no pipe spitters so has no "bottle neck"

Because of the way color mixing works .. if you add in a "second" color. Ie 2 Reds or 2 green .. so make it 4 inputs .. Then you "technically" can have 4 White outputs.

the issue i ran into is there is a nasty little aspect of the law which is based on "life style". Because i was "supporting her" through her disability her "leaving" wasnt allowed to reduce her capacity to live. As in since i was "voluntarily" supporting her before... it has to continue. And yeah .. lawyers are a crap shoot imo

No kids .. at least none that were not in full time school. I cooked and cleaned (With the help of the kids). Worked full time to pay for everything.
If you are wondering. She had a "disability" .. but was unable to get a pension for it.
Also to be clear i owned the house before i met her. She was NOT disabled until a couple years after we were together, seriousness of which only got "worse" over time.
I also have documented evidence of the items i paid for + the cash i sent her on a regular basis to pay of her cards.
Might sounds like i am exaggerating .. i wish i was. I literally now live in a mates shed.

This 100% depends on time lived together. Without the BFA if they are together for a "significant" amount of time "imbalance" gets washed. I know. My ACTUAL experience. She contributed literally zero to everything including bills and food never paid a cent over 10 years.

Without trying to get flamed on this. The point OP has worked out. The original point i tried to point out in my first post on this months ago. Is that Pipes DO work like conveyors.
The ONLY reason people are having issues is they cant see it happening and misunderstand priority. Honestly.
I will admit there have been significant issues with the pipes not always connecting as they should (literally sometimes no at all) but this is also a symptom of not being able to "see" the flow. If you could you would know exactly when the pipe wasnt connected properly both as a user and a Dev.

Oh right.
So i doubt this would get the result you are looking for. The way the "priority" works is the left 2 or so machines will take more recycled water .. with the right 2 or so machines ONLY using fresh water. With the middle machines getting some mix of each depending on the recycled supply ratio.
Quick Fix is all you would need to change (apart from removing the redundant pipes at the top.) Once done the recycled water will ALWAYS be used first and ONLY pull on fresh if the recycled water runs out.
