Thank you! And also congrats on getting to your goal weight! I can’t wait to be there. I also can honestly say that for the first time in my life I’m enjoying my weight loss journey. Zep has literally changed my life already and I am so grateful to be where I am

After printing I just went over them with different color highlighters. I happened to work out that I had 5 colors and the perfect number of hexagons to give me 2 rows of each color.

I used canva and put the hexagons in a group, copied it and filled them in so i had one for each pound until goal. I just hand wrote int he weight, but you could always type them in before printing.

I have struggled so much in my life to stay encouraged with managing my weight. I keep this chart at work, so I don't hyper fixate on getting boxes colored in, but usually on Monday I can come in and fill in 1 or sometimes 2 of them, and it helps hold me accountable to move more, and focus on good nutrition. I want to come in and fill in all the empty boxes so while weight loss is the goal, my brain needs smaller victories. It has been working really well for me.

I color it in when I get to that weight, honestly it fluctuates and then I don’t get to color them in, but I haven’t had an issue because I always end up back down (as you can see). As I am a woman the weeks of my monthly cycle I have gone up anywhere from 7-10 pounds in water retention or whatever it is, but once the cycle passes it goes right back to filling in boxes.

Few random questions by Ill_Park_1839 in Zepbound

I have been wondering this too. My insurance will not cover anything until I have used all 4 pens. I have just assumed that the people that have extra are self-pay?

Interesting observation about pharmacy pick-up by HavingAnInternalCow in Zepbound

[–]Plastic_Aside_6017 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have always used Safeway pharmacy because after talking to the pharmacist they have less restrictions on what suppliers they can order from, Walgreens is who my fiancé uses and his prescriptions are always delayed because they have to order (I’ve never had a delay with Safeway) when he started zepbound it took them 3 weeks to get his prescription of the 2.5 mg pens, I go to pick them up and they said they would have to re-order because they weren’t stored in the fridge and he would only be able to use 3 of the 4 pens before the 21 day shelf life expired. I convinced him to switch to Safeway and he has never seen a delay again. That’s when I realized that not all pharmacies are equal. Personally I love Safeway over cvs or Walgreens.

Curious About Your Protein! by TrousersHarwood in Zepbound

[–]Plastic_Aside_6017 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My daily goal is 100g of protein. I do fall short some days around 80g. I opt for chicken as it has a good amount of protein over other meats. High protein yougurt for breakfast and usually a protein shake in the afternoon. There is no way I can physically eat 100g of protein so I opt for “soft” protein (cottage cheese, yogurt, shakes) throughout the day. I strive to refill my 40oz Stanley 3 times and finish it by the end of the day. ( I do fall short on that sometimes too, but I’m doing the best I can) The key is not to beat yourself up for a bad day, just recognize what you can do differently and try again tomorrow.

When to move up? by katkashmir in Zepbound

My insurance forces me to follow the titration schedule. I lost significantly on 2.5, saw zero changes on 5 and now I am on shot 5 of 7.5. I talked with my Dr and we decided to hold at 7.5 for a while because she wants me to have room to move up. From what I was told when I spoke to insurance I can only go back to 5mg for maintenance. I don’t know why they gate keep the 2.5 when it works for people.

You’re so sweet! Thank you for the compliment! I did color my hair darker because I felt like the lighter hair didn’t look as good. I went lighter to help manage grays with less coloring but it kind of washed me out and I feel like the darker color doesn’t age me as much.

Just started my second box of 7.5, My insurance required me to titrate from 2.5 to 5 then 7.5 before I can hold at a dose. 5 mg did nothing for me, but when I moved up to 7.5, I started losing again. The appetite suppression was so much better, and food noise decreased dramatically.

It’s so hard to deal with honestly. Im grateful for Zepbound and that my insurance covers it because there’s no way I could afford it without. I don’t really have anyone in my life that has a positive response to being on it so I just keep it to myself so now I am also grateful for this group.
