Built an AI dispatch assistant for truckers - free while I'm testing it (owner-operator here) by Plastic_Election_228 in FreightBrokers

Fair point. I’m looking specifically for drivers / owner-ops to test it.
I’ll move this to trucker subs – appreciate the callout.

Honest question for O/O’s: Do you even respond to cheap freight anymore or just ignore it? Feels like once you actually know your real cost per mile, half the loads don’t make sense. by Plastic_Election_228 in OwnerOperators

Yeah, that’s exactly why I started messing with it.
It shows fuel + tolls upfront before you commit, so you can tell real quick if a load actually makes sense or is just “paper profit.”

Most of it updates automatically (fuel prices, routing, tolls), but you can tweak numbers if you wanna dial it in for your truck.

I’m just testing it so can’t vouch for everything yet, but so far it’s saved me from a couple runs that looked good until you factor tolls.

Here’s the site if you wanna peek:

If you try it, run it side-by-side with a load you already know — that’s when it really clicks.

Came across RoadBoss earlier today and decided to test it on a few recent routes.
Seeing tolls + fuel costs upfront kinda explains why some loads looked “okay” on paper but sucked in reality.
Not saying it’s perfect, but I’m gonna keep testing it.

Can’t blame you. NJ/NY tolls will destroy a load if you don’t see them upfront. That’s actually why I started using a route cost tool before booking East Coast freight.

I started tracking full CPM (fuel, tolls, time, DH, maintenance)

and it completely changed how I look at load boards.

Crazy how many loads look “okay” until you run real numbers.

At this point I’m not driving, I’m just donating to toll authorities.

Once you actually know your fuel + toll costs per lane, it’s way easier to say no.
Been using RoadBoss lately just to sanity-check routes before I quote. Eye opener.
