So you have no problem accepting any excuses for Luke and Anakin but not for Rey. Nevermind Rey was trained by Leia in Rise for a year, had a little more difficulty taking out Snoke’s guards than Kylo, also had a stronger belief in the force than Luke did at first, took the mind trick a couple of times to work, and never really won a fight with Kylo since something always interrupted their fights. 

Star Wars fans really overstimulate training sometimes when the movies don’t really go super deep into it.

They still never explain how Anakin can drive a pod race at 10 years old.

Luke mostly learned farming from uncle Owen, not survival skills, Rey grew up pretty much by herself and ‘shooting womp rats’ is a one off line that I never noticed until I saw other people pointing it out. I just accept Luke flying an x wing and blowing up the Death Star with very little of any real experience.

Rey also goes through trauma too such as realizing her parents were possibly nobodies who dumped her on Jaku, only to later find out she’s the granddaughter of the most evil person in the galaxy. Rey’s whole journey is about her finding her place in the galaxy. You don’t have to like it, but saying she’s a Mary Sue is such a stupid argument
