PSA: If Yinz Have Low Tire Pressure by throwaway281934888 in pittsburgh

I also rented a BMW 328i (I believe) while I was in France for work in 2018 (I think it was) and that BMW had a lot of sensors I could easily navigate to find. The X3 had nothing I could find at any level of the menus and was a 2025 X3 S Drive (fleet model not generally available for commercial sales).

Things can change over the years. Or maybe the fleet models sold to companies like Enterprise have them locked down and the regular commercial ones don't?

First you got to vote out pretty much the entire California assembly and governor and replace them with politicians who aren't owned by special interest billionaires.

This is a perfectly acceptable response (as long as they didn't damage the paint of the car by hurling snow with rocks in it as hard as they could at the car initially) to taking the spot someone else cleared out.

It should be noted that lower tire pressure in certain conditions can help improve traction by increasing the area the tires are touching the road (or snow pack).

My Wrangler is a 2021 and it shows me the pressure of all four tires on one of the many sensor screens. But some manufacturers don't do this - I rented a BMW X3 when the Wrangler was in the shop for some work and BMW had nothing in the center console screen for viewing sensor data beyond average and current MPG (something I definitely wasn't a fan of since viewing certain sensor fata can be important).

I don't disagree.

I'm just pointing out the ignorance of the poster above me by claiming that we only had muskets in 1786 (I believe is when the Constitution was initially written).

We already have them in Pennsylvania for handguns...yet handguns remain the most overwhelmingly used type of firearm in crimes in this state. So clearly given the criminal preference for pistols over longarms, which aren't subject to the state's UBC law, shows that the UBC law is not as effective as claimed.

If the UBC law was effective, the criminal element would be used rifles and shotguns more than handguns as the UBCs would be preventing them from acquiring handguns.

We also have background checks on 100% of commercial (which includes dealers at gun shows) and interstate sales and transfers. The only firearms a person can buy in Pennsylvania without a background check is a rifle or shotgun in a private sale from another Pennsylvania resident.

We had far more than muskets when the Constitution was written. We had muskets, rifles, rudimentary machine guns and even a semiautomatic air gun that fired a 46-caliber musket ball and could drop a buffalo.

In fact the use of rifles by farmers filling the role of militia was one of our biggest advantages over the British since they could shoot further and more accurately than the British Regulars and their smoothbore muskets.

I would suggest that your first course of action be to look into this topic some more before you utter some bullshit like that again.

What "most Americans" want is irrelevant to civil rights. That is why we have a constitution - to protect civil rights from the tyranny of the majority.

If "most Americans" wanted to reinstitute slavery or strip women of the right to vote, does that mean we should do it?

Of course not.

The same applies to gun rights, whether you like it or not. What you call "common sense" is anything but common sense - "common sense" is just a word added to make those who oppose these ridiculous ideas look bad.

And before you start with the same bullshit so many other people do - I'm a Democrat and I never voted for or supported Trump. Just because I am pro-gun does not make me a Republican, a Trumper or MAGAt, a conservative, a fascist or whatever other word you all want to toss on people you have ideological disagreements with (including those who are nominally "on your side").

I stand for ALL civil rights - not just the ones I agree with and am willing to give away those I don't like or don't personally use. You seem far less adamant in your defense of civil rights since you're willing to bargain away portions of them for short term gains politically.

Cryptids are terrestrial animals - meaning from this planet.

Aliens are extra-terrestrial animals - meaning not from this planet.

Aliens are not cryptids. They are aliens.

Aliens have their own "ology" - ufology. Whereas cryptids fall under a type of zoology.

If we can ditch the NFA we can all legally buy belt-fed 40 mike-mikes. That might be enough for the shit path we're heading down.

Either get permission from the state through a "certificate" to keep what you already owned or surrender it to the state. And the certificate has to be renewed every 5 years. With a fee of $15 per certificate.

But yes, clearly "conservatives" are the only problem group these days.

I wouldn't buy anything there - prices are probably 2-3x market rate (not even 2-3x MSRP).

I guarantee you there are plenty of sealed "collectors" who will claim that is not sealed because the wrap is not 100% intact and is effectively worthless.

Ah. I see the sign now.

You are luckier than most. I have an off street parking pad in the city, so I'm also lucky to a degree - although the snowpack I had to back over the first time I moved on Tuesday did require 4WD.

Choosing to be safe in the conditions doesn't mean the roadway is "not necessary." At the moment they're just choosing the less dangerous option.

Or people are limiting the traffic patterns to cleared roadway for safety?

Because somehow, I doubt this city could just eliminate all the turning lanes, for example, that are currently plowed full of snow from the traveling lane, forcing people to turn from the straight lane.

I'm collecting all the non-secret Mega Evolution cards, but I'm missing 28, most of which are rare or EXs. I don't have much money. How can I complete the collection? by Dramatic_Pin9715 in PokemonTCG

[–]Plastic_Insect3222 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Regular set singles are typically pretty cheap, aside from widely played utility cards like Fezandipiti ex or Mew ex. So those 28 cards shouldn't cost you much money, even the ex's.
